Help?
I seem to keep running into this same issue when the Huntsman and Elsa are on the map, where even if I'm already hiding and not near them, the Huntsman will shoot Elsa and then it auto targets me and kills me without me being anywhere near them or having been hidden for a while. i was 2 rooms away in the museum when this happened is this normal?

Huntsman has a (possibly) purposeful design flaw. When he goes to shoot he blames any non-player sounds on a player, if close enough. For example if I drop a valuable near him he will blame the sound on me and target me. Elsa is problematic because if she yips or makes noise close to you (which should be the case as she only makes noise if locked on to you,) this will trigger Huntsman to shoot if he is close enough. This is in part to how the Huntsman figures out how to shoot and where. If you want more in-depth mechanic explanations I can help if you need them.
I think that's normal, yeah. if elsa or the duck get hit by *anything* they will target you. even if it's their own doing. I once had the duck jump into a sword valuable leaning against the wall, damage itself, and then come after me.
and huntsman is shooting noises, that's how he operates. elsa makes noises.
Exactly, Elsa and the Apex Predator are programmed to aggro if damaged. They have the ability to always know where you are when aggroed so just run if that happens, hiding is not going to work (in most cases). Glad you figured it out!

If you mean the Huntsman shot Elsa without you making a sound it is because Elsa can bark sometimes and this alerts the Huntsman to shoot her. If you mean Elsa is targeting you without you harming her at all or making her mad, any damage on Elsa will make her instantly aggro onto the nearest player.
