Toxic Player And Critical Request

[Player Report / Critical Loss of New Players]

Issue:
An toxic host is aggressively banning and kicking brand-new players without reason, severely harming the game’s reputation and user retention.

Lobby Name:
[Late Join] autistic leftist clowns [no bigots][420][25+]

Server Region:
USA WEST

Details:
I am a brand-new player who just purchased and started playing R.E.P.O. a few days ago.

I joined the lobby mentioned above, but the host instantly kicked and banned me from the room without any warning or explanation, simply because I didn't have a mic on. She asked me "Do you have mic?", then I told "no mic" on text, then she kicked me.
And I don't why, but she banned me.
This was happened about 8:00 26/10/2026 in japan.

She is just bad person, not because of her ill.

Why the Developers MUST Take Action:
As a new user, this incredibly toxic experience has completely ruined my first impression of the game.
I was ready to support this game and invest more time (and potentially money) into it,
but allowing toxic veteran hosts to gatekeep and drive away new buyers will directly hurt the game's active player count and future revenue.

For a newly released game, retaining fresh buyers is financial life or death.

Please review this host's logs and issue a severe penalty/ban. This kind of exclusive, toxic behavior will kill the community and run your business into the ground if left unpunished.

If people like them are allowed to do whatever they want just by using their "conditions" as an excuse, then considering all the chronic illnesses I suffer from, I should be entitled to act however I please, and everyone should just blindly tolerate any harassment I inflict on others. I can say ♥♥♥+er to black people, banned black people and yellow people because of their races, having racism toward someone, tell F or N words to someone, kill someone on this game by reasoning my illnesses. But this is no right, right?

[CRITICAL REQUEST FOR THE NEXT UPDATE]
Please integrate the game with Steam's "Recently Played With" (Recently Played) feature immediately.

Currently, R.E.P.O. does not support Steam's player history function.

Because of this, when new players are targeted by toxic users or toxic hosts, it is completely impossible to track them down, find their Steam profiles, or report them properly.

To protect your community and allow players to report griefers effectively, implementing Steam's "Recently Played" support must be a top priority for your next patch.
Without this feature, your report system is fundamentally broken, and toxic players will continue to ruin your game with absolute impunity.

Sooooo..... the reason they kicked you was to make sure that they weren't playing with a kid. It is common the on US servers that kids join and type pretending to be adults and then completely ruin the game experience. It had nothing to do with their disabilities or anything.

Just try a different lobby or even host your own. You would find out quickly when you host that having kids in your game when its supposed to be adults only really sucks.

First of all, stop making baseless, delusional assumptions about my age. I am an adult, not a child.
Your logic is fundamentally flawed and completely misses the point. If a host wants an "adults-only with mic" lobby, they should explicitly state "Mic Required / Adults Only" in the lobby title, rather than using a deceptive title like "no bigots" while instantly banning people who communicate via text.
The real issue here isn't about children ruining games; it's about so-called "adult" hosts behaving like spoiled, exclusive brats. Resorting to instant bans without any communication or warning is the epitome of immature and toxic behavior.
Furthermore, you are completely ignoring the second half of my post. How do you justify other players spamming the N-word and F-word with absolute impunity due to the lack of a Steam history feature?
If your only solution to a fundamentally broken report system and rampant hate speech is "just host your own lobby," then you are actively contributing to the decay of this community.

I didn't read anything in their post assuming you were a kid. making sure they're not playing with kids has nothing to do with whether or not you actually are one. they feel they can have a better gauge of age with voice, and kids will use lack of mic to hide that, and they think that's why you got banned. not because you actually ARE a kid, but because the host couldn't make that call.

that out of the way, I think your request for a player history is valid, that'd be a good change.
I don't think the devs read Steam very much. I could be wrong, but they hang out in their discord server and post more updates there as well. you might try posting this there, in the forum section.

You overreacted on what Dawn said. The point made by them was the server host making sure no underages end up on the server by having evidence for not being one, Dawn made no assumptins about you.
However, this lobby name ([Late Join] autistic leftist clowns [no bigots][420][25+]) most likely features adults that are absolutely not any smarter than most prepubescents. Not because of the self-branding lobby name or any of their actual mental conditions, but because of the apparent obvious agenda going on in there, not to mention the cheat mods abused.

And I have formally diagnosed ASD myself.
