Tanya - Sounds like a glitch, unfortunately. Those 4 ingredients are all you need. Maybe something else is triggering the glitch? Have you tried reloading? Or talking to Laura and reinitiating the distraction? Do you have the cookie book and the key case in your inventory?

Noibn - You have to add something corrosive to the grater. I think you might find what you're looking for outside the gate ;)

Have you actually tried to use the mixer after putting all of the ingredients in it??? to using the handle...

It just says the dough isn't ready yet. If I click the magnifying glass on the mixer it just does nothing whatsoever.

We have had the exact same problem but this is the only place on the net I can find any mention of it! My wife and I are playing the game together and she put two ingredients in at the same time. We wondered if that might be the source of the bug.

I've run into an issue at the same point in the game, where the bowl of cookie dough somehow got duplicated and now I've got multiple items in my inventory, and am not being allowed to leave the reception room...

I hate to as some say 'necro' this. But can't believe this is still an issue with this game! I actually put the crystal dust, drywall dust, rust flakes, flower juice all in separate and still won't let me mix it and says it isn't ready. Well, if that save file from them doesn't work. Guess the best thing for others (including me) is to save in different slot before even try adding to the mixer bowl (**Game also doesn't let you do that, so can take your SaveFile-1.tiw file and copy/paste as SaveFile-2.tiw or 3). That sucks that you can't choose which to save, at least for me it didn't allow that. Then can pull it up from the other slot if have to recover. And as 'trodelhoffen' mentions this is the only place find it mentioned also. Guess developer has abandoned this. I'll make sure I mention this in my review so others don't fall into the trap if they decided to by a faulty product.

Reading the help notes in from the pull down at the top. Think you might need to put the flowers in last. That might be the key. I might have to start completely over now. But will try that.

***THAT WORKED. Put the flowers in last and now got "All the Ingredients Are In There."

Sucks when you buy a game that they keep selling without fixing bugs.

So I got the flowers in the courtyard, the rust flakes from the shield, the crystal shards from the wind fountain hall and the flour-dust from the crumbled wall. I put them all into the mixer but nothing happened, and when I click the crank it tells me that it's not finished yet.

I looked up the walkthroughs and there isn't anything different to what I did. Evidently, I can't progress further in the game now.

same here and my only save is after all the ingredients are in but can't be cranked into the dough I was loving the game so far but now I'll never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ finish it lol
