I have an idea for Universe Sandbox 2 that i think many players would like.
It would be cool to write a Target Year and you press Enter the game would stop to Simulate the Graphics and Effects and uses all power for just the Physical calculation while showing a loading screen and a log where you can see in text form what happened like "Earth crashed into Moon" and other things that happened and when it calculated anything to the Target date it will load the Graphics again.
Yup yup
Perfect add that please
Gonna buy it in Christmas sale

Hello, uh, i just downloading the game and i go to play, with my steam account pulled up, and i pulls up the game, but i get something that says 'You must be running steam to use universe sandbox. Launch steam and then start universe sandbox.' That is what i see every time i pull up universe sandbox, WITH my steam account pulled up, Help?
Mintally, are you still having this issue? Other users who have reported this in the past say that it goes away after restarting Steam or their computer. Please also make sure you are launching Universe Sandbox ² from your Steam Library and not from a shortcut.
Thanks Mate!

Will Horseshoe Orbits Be added??

They are really cool
What is Equator-To-Pole Difference? Is it a fraction between the temperatures of the poles and equator, or something else? How is it calculated?
i thought about an idea for a big update (or even a dlc). instead of only having 4 materials (which is in my opinion a HUGE immersion/simulation breaker) you would have a big number of materials that you can choose from and put in your planet. maybe even intergrate a periodic table UI into the game that you can choose elements from. it'll make the game so much more of course you'll need to hire some chemists for this kind of project (to make sure the elements intract with each other as accuratly as possible) but the end result will be AMAZING.

P.S. if not the periodic table idea which is obviously very ambitious at least put a little more elements in the game it feels half finished this way (elements like - Oxygen, Carbon, Helium, Neon, Nitrogen which are the most common elements in the universe (well after dark matter/energy but thos are WAY too theoretical and little known to implement in the game))

you forgot neutronium (it is not on the periodic table as you know it ) neutronium also goes by its cooler name "element zero" it qualifies as an element because element zero or "eezo" as its sometimes called in mass effect is a substance but made entirely of neutrons(it is the stuff neutron stars are made of) the reason it is 0 on the periodic table is that in the formation of neutron stars every proton and electron is squeezed together(by gravity) to form neutrons the thing is an element's number is dependant on number of protons and electrons (hydrogen 2{deuterium} has a proton an electron and a neutron)
Neutronium isn't an element. It's a theoretical material constructed from subatomic particles, but it is in no way an element like Carbon or Rubidium are elements.

you talk about dark matter and dark energy? because i know about them i just feel like they are wayy too theortical to make an actual simulator of them
Simulating dark matter realistically and inately would probably require the simulation environment to be divided into tiny squares, each having a force vector. It would have a lot of overhead, andf most likely make the game run horribly on average computers. I feel like the point-based dark matter we have now is less realistic, but more feasable given current computing limitations.

thats because you only stick to what you are familiar with (elements with numbers above zero) if you think about it neutronium(or eezo as its called in mass effect) fits nicely as an element zero and its not as theoretical as you think you unknowingly already see element zero in the game as neutron stars....ever wonder why they are called that? thats because all protons and electrons are squeezed together to form neutrons so lone neutrons or groups of them could be bits of eezo... and eezo would fit nicely right above helium the reason it fits as an element is because it is a material made of particles(same thing with hydrogen and all other{traditional}elements) and besides why does eezo suffer plutos fate of being left out first we kick pluto out of planet status(poor pluto) then we leave eezo(a relatively stable element compared to elements with atomic number 108 and higher) out of the periodic table...and besides element zero sounds really cool
Then that means every neutron star is a unique element, because no two neutron stars have the exact same number of protons.

EDIT: Wait - I though differentiation between elements depended on protons and electrons, not neutrons. I believe you are mistaken.
Dark matter could possibly be added to the game if the developers think its compulsary to add. But downside, darkmatter is invisable to the naked eye, so the devolopers dont have an interpretation of what dark matter could look like.
