Somebody know how to open the official guide book? I just bought it and can't find it anywhere.
Any help appreciated.

It should be in your Pioneers of Pagonia directory within your Steam directory:
... Steam\steamapps\common\Pioneers of Pagonia\Official Guide

If you have a different directory than C:\ it might be found under:

... SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Pioneers of Pagonia\Official Guide

steam/steamapps/pioneers of pagonia ....there is no Official Guide !!!!????

they charge for the guide? info thats gonna be in a wiki at some point. Kinda money grabby innit?

It's a support vehicle for early access.

Nothing in it provides more than 20 hours of actual gameplay won't teach. There are no actual strategies in it so steam guides would be much more helpful there. Other info is spread through the tutorial, tips, guided play and tutorial videos if you have them enabled.

IMO, it's not worh 10 quid unless you want to support the game again. That said, I don't think it's a cash grab either. There is some decent info in it and they plan to update it as they move through EA.

I bought this to support the developers but as an ancient gamer, I remember when guides came with the game...but I have thought computer games have been in retrograde for a few years now. Also baffles me how you can sell a guide but not tell the customer where to find it!

Yeah I am having the same issue. No PDF for the Official Guide. Not in location it states, not in the games install location. Steam tells me it is in my library but it is not in the list of DLCs I have.

Just purchased this and Steam tells me I have it in my library. The PDF does not exist in the location shown or where the game is installed. Properties>DLC does not show the guide so I cannot tick it. Very frustrating and I feel I have been ripped off.

I had trouble finding it too, it seems like it can be in one of a few locations. It might be saved to the cloud too. I can't remember if the guide button on the menu screen wasn't taking me to the location or if I later update or reinstall corrected the button but it is taking me to the guide location on my computer now (last or lowest button on the menu).

Its saved on my computer at this location I had chosen:

D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Pioneers of Pagonia\Official Guide

I do not have any button within the game to open the guide. The guide does not exist at all on my PC. I have done a search for it across all of my drives.
Steam says I have purchased it.
Game Properties>DLC it is not there. My other DLCs are there and ticked.
I have verified files, no change.
I have uninstalled and re-installed, makes not difference.

Yes, there is currently an issue on our end that causes the Guide Book to not download properly.
We are already working on a fix!
