Not likely at all. It's a 8 years old game.

I saw an article that they will be hopefully reducing the game size on XBOX and PC to at least "half" source: https://www.neowin.net/news/sea-of-thieves-install-size-to-shrink-by-half-saving-at-least-60gb/

edit to add: Over on PlayStation 5, Rare is targeting a 30% installation file size decrease that will bring it "in-line with other 4K platforms."

That's good news!

They will reduce the size of the game soon. Thx to Activision.

Sorry but that had nothing to do with Activision as the video was recorded a week before it released and work on size reduction had already started before then.

Hopefully 50% at least! :)

I hope they can do it like Helldivers 2

it shoul d be like max 60 or 70 this is alot of gb for this game

it's still 134 GB.
when will they actually do it?

As mentioned they are currently working on it. No date for when it goes live has been released yet.

Everytime I'm thinking about getting back in to the game I look at the file size and feel like it's not worth it and play something else instead.

Then do that.

me too

Well if it isn't worth it for you then so be it lol..
the "how" of spending what little time we all have on this earth should always be up to us and never to someone else
..so if you don't think it's worth it to spend 135gb and a bit of downloading time to then play the game then that is how it is ^^
