Chaos curse bug

During a run where i picked up Chaos boon in Oceanus that had a condition to complete several encounters under 120 seconds or get hit with 500 dmg; i got a room full of spider webs (cocoons?) and the timer was still ticking
got the room reward but the count hit 10 seconds mark, in mild panic i proceeded to the next room, and then got hit by the curse after a three second countdown
the curse then wore off with the now new encounter going as usual

(also a throw away one; can the time piece become secondary keepsake? started with it but it remained on my hotbar after picking up ghostly onion)

Heyo! First, yes, the Time Piece effect sticks around for the whole run, even if you turn it off; there are a handful of other keepsakes that work the same way.

For the Chaos Curse, I believe it counts down in most rooms, and it would definitely continue counting down in a room that Arachne has webbed. Did you take damage from the curse despite completing enough rooms, or was it just that the timer seemed wrong?

first; very curious

second; unless the timer supposed to reset after picking up the reward, i'd guess i just didn't know the timer still goes even in empty rooms, i didn't pay attention to the room tracker
maybe because i didn't unweb any enemies in that room the room clear didn't count?
