For Medea: The main way I, and most likely other people, use it is by spamming your attack so all of your shells are out at once, then you hit the enemy with the normal special so all shells can explode on them at once, ranking in a lot of damage. People also likes to put apollo on attack so the skull becomes massive AOEs that can wipe out a lot of enemies at once, but I would say Aphrodite on attack is a close runner up.

For the infernal contract: I am assuming you mean the one that let's you fight zagreus? Because in case you didn't know, they ONLY have a chance of showing up in mid-region shops, not the shops before a boss.

For steam saving: I have never experienced any problems with saving in this game on steam, I think the only ways it might mess up may be in say the game crashes somehow, or you goof up and clicked the "give up" option during a run instead of quit, as the "give up" option basically abandons the current run and reverts you back to the training grounds.

Thanks for the answer i think i will deal with gamepass for now the game is a bit expensive... For now i try to enter the most rooms i can to force a real save before exiting gamepass is a mess but its made me know hades 2 i hate roguelite so if it was to buy it i would never know such a wonderfull game... And yes i tried all the most famous roguelites and hate all of them hades 2 was the exception...
