It makes no sense that a Multibillion dollar company like Valve doesnt keep a minimum stock of supplies. Im selling my Valve Index and will be buying the Oculus instead. Valve has really dropped the ball here...wow

When will basestations be available? STEAM support doesn't say anything, they don't care. How long does it take to stock? Weeks? Months? Years? Centuries?

i would reslly like to buy a second basestation.

Considering all the benefits of SLAM tracking, base station tracking is still predominant. It's more reliant (not so much dependent on software implementation) and has some advantages over inside out (compatibility with sim rigs, room lighting, etc). You can enter any VR related subreddit and occasionally see people asking and requesting base stations. Specifically Valve base stations. There are still Vive base stations but they are way overpriced considering the price and what's included in the package (...

When will valve open op the orders for base stations v2 ? I have an index which i bought without to use the older htc base stations.. it works but my room is a tad on the large side that tracking can become spotty.. i'd like to place a pre order for 2x v2 base stations...
