Changeling info Part 1!
i figured instead of typing it twice, here is the email i sent to someont asking about being a narrator and char approval. I deleted everything that was unique to that person.

I would love to have you play in the game!! However, as far as narration goes there won't be any narrators to start. I want to ensure that there are enough players and that there is a good player to narrator ratio.
I am making Narrators in a -different- way than I have seen done before. Narrators will rise to the position as their character gain title in game. This is stipulated by the title being to either the count or the countess who Richard and I will be playing as co-storytellers (ie if you are a knight from somewhere else, you won't get narrator stats until your char is sworn to the count or countess. Depending on how high your title is, you will have different "narrator powers" )ie knights can make rules calls, barons can run sceans, and counts can be in on the plot). I am doing this to encourage players to lead each other.
You can attain knightship by repeatedly working with other players to solve plot stuff, generate plot stuff, being aware of their wan't/need and bringing it tot he count/countess. Exampel- Knight of NY city Jonothan sees some listless wilders looking to start trouble, he tells them a story about a treasure he once stole from a mermaid queen... all the wilders get excited (the player runs to me and relates what happens), Jonothan suggests that they all go for a trot in the Dreaming and then the ST runs the seen. Eventually if it is obvious you (or anyone) is helping the game we will end up granting title (and narrator status).
I don't doubt that you may fall into the catagory - we just want to start everyone of at base 1.
PLAYERs! w00t! Note: You may want to hold of on char creation until more is posted (soon i promise) in the SPRAL community. There is a plot in the works, when games starts so all the chars will have a good reason to be there. There are very, very few changelings in in Bellingham to start.
We are also asking that we recive backgrounds at the same time as char-gen. I know this is tought but we are hoping that this will be a personal plot driven game - and as such, we will be more likely to approve chars with backgrounds, than just concepts.
I will post very soon!!! With the backstory and some of the nit picky things about char gen (ie I will be approving -very- few Pookas, and you are the second to ask. We will also be approving few childlings -but i am sure your char isn't likely to be a problem-).

I try to answer it when it rings, but sometimes, it is hard to hear (so i might call back in a minute!) I really look forward to what you bring to a game, mucho energy and vitality. Please keep in touch, and tell your friends, they can start sending backgrounds at anytime for approval. The better and more developed the char the more fun for everyone.
