2009.02.23 15.42 the library computer feels ancient BUT IT RUNS FASTER THAN MINE Oh shit, when did it turn 3:43 here? Jesus I'm hungry. I got up at, like, noon and meandered around taking a shower, getting dressed to go outside, etc. etc. and got here at 1:30 and now it's 3:43. WHAT WHAT WHAT. Idk ignore this part, I went nowhere with it. But I am debating between getting a snack or just putting up with my raeging hunger fires until dinner. But it doesn't help when I'm looking at this delicious, fabulous thing. Maybe I'll go to the Bulk Barn tonight, FINALLY, and make that beast. Someone close to me is listening to hard rock/metal/industrial crap or whatever and I'm tempted to tell them their taste in music sucks. But hey, it's a teen. ALL TEENAGER MUSICAL TASTES SUCK, so I will let it slide because I'm only 80% hypocrite. My LJ account is dying soon and yet I don't even care. Not like I even have cash anyway. Not until one of those many jobs I've applied for call me back and are all "OH HEY U, WE WILL GIVE U $$$ IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR HARD WORK" and I'll be all YAAAY and get $$$. Oh, I forgot someone I do know works at one of those places. I'll be sure to ref him when I apply... eheh. I should gank my dad's computer tonight around 8pm when they're gone and watch the Oscars. They are always supremely boring for me, but it's important for my class... I kind of don't want to know how horribly off my guesses were (I have no interest in the affairs of Hollywood) but... idk. 2009.02.17 20.32 this is why i am cursed in the kitchen I cooked microwavable hashbrowns and followed their instructions precisely. The house filled with smoke, plastic melted and the insides are brown, not to mention 80% of the hashbrowns are BLACK and there are marks in the microwave from it burning through. I quickly threw the box of hashbrowns on my plate and fled to my room with them. My mom's upstairs. She's never going to believe me when she looks in there... Mood:  worried

My favourite words: Habberdasher, pumpernickel, one other that's not coming to me. T_T Bombastic, pompous... bakabakashi (describing something stupid). oh, and ukibukuro (bladder). :D I'll explain why I find ukibukuyo funny: uki (rain/rainy season/ the appearance it's about to rain) / fukuro (pocket). The Japanese also use fukuyo for other words, such as "tefukuyo" (hand + pocket = gloves). Also the old usage of the word "fresh" -- limejam will get that.Mood: hungry

2009.02.15 16.30 what is with the influx of srsface entries lately? I just realized right now I really miss being a full-time student. The only things holding me back is the fact I have no cash and I have unwilling parents to pay... adding to the fact I have no job. I don't have any schedule, ambition or anything at all. I'm totally at the bottom of the ladder. It doesn't help there's the economic crisis going on so nabbing a proper job right now is gonna be difficult. It really doesn't help I have no idea what my ~* passion *~ is and I have no idea what I want to do in school as it is. tl;dr: I want to go back to school full-time and stop being such a broke loser 24/7. 2009.02.11 17.33 Dizzy my future, silly my way Straightener - Runners High SO CATCHY. I've been listening to it non-stop and kinda singing "DIZZY MY FUTURE, SILLY MY WAY" to myself under my breath on the bus. Pffuuuuh, today has sucked in that bittersweet sense. I totally got there too late which means I ended up BAWWWing into another store and bought a sweet, then I bawwwed into McDonald's and drowned my sorrow in a Big Mac. Fatchun and Fatanishi Jin would be proud. I'm off to baw and drink some fanta when I leave. I don't even know anything about the Oscars or the test for tonight, I SUCK. 2009.02.10 17.04 more for myself... FUCK I have an addiction to Fanta. This can't be good for me. Starting tonight, I'll only have it once a week. Everything else will be substituted with plain water, tea or the occasional 1% milk. I really need to lose my middle, orz. My current food diet isn't too bad I think, considering 98% of what I've been eating lately is either a peanut butter sandwich, an apple, salmon & rice, salad or bran cereal. It's manageable. I just can't overdo it on the cup noodles (not like I have any right now ;~;) and not eat so much pound cake when it's available. >:0 ONCE A WEEK! I should consider working out more seriously too. I... have this odd situation where I'm skinny everywhere except my gut. But all I ever do is think about it, get exhausted and go to bad. And limejam sent me the perfect macro that describes us both to some extent...Disregard the title of the song I'm listening to right now. Edit: I feel like taking a nap. |

2009.02.06 19.50 I like my new icon I have been super productive today! First thing this morning I finished the request batch at  iconsordie which meant I crammed over 30 icons in an hour -- usually unheard of from someone like me, but I did get this sweet icon out of it! On the other hand though, I did procrastinate for almost a year...Two, I got my work done early so I could tweak my resume, which I haven't done in a long time, and tbqh it felt good not to stress about it becoming night then me taking a tour through FROSTBITE CITY. Seriously, that is why I hate Canada. It was also nice and warm today, so I'm glad I waited until later in the morning to do it. Three, I applied to the bowling alley today because I heard they were hiring. Bothered the dude, asked about the work, threw my resume at him (well not literally), bellowed THANKS!!! and left. I think I am actually getting over my social phobia because I would've been a lot shyer. I blame film class for that, in all honesty. But in reality, I guess I just learned how to cope with my stress levels better. On the flip side though, I pulled an all-nighter and snoozed for about two hours this afternoon to catch at least a little bit of shut-eye. It actually worked wonders on me. I am drinking iced coffee right now and FUCK is it heaven in a can. Nom nom. I also bought Fanta, and as you all should know by now, I am crazy about that shit too. Hopefully it'll help me last until midnight! I ended up dreaming about The Trace anyway, and bothering everyone with my copy while... freestyle rapping, oddly. OMG I am SO going to post like that when I actually get it. Drinking this coffee in a can makes me feel nostalgic and, oddly, a little bit gloomy. It reminds me of when I was riding on the Greyhound down to Oshawa to visit my best friend Jon. I bought a can and half a sub and sat in the bus while we rolled along. It was really... relaxing. I hope I can do it again sometime. I kinda miss it. Though this year is also potentially the first year I go on a plane, so maybe that can be fixed... 'Kay rambling mode OFF. TTYL. Mood:  exhausted

2009.01.30 13.58 Little things Have you ever ruined the ending or given away plot developments in a book, movie, or tv show by telling someone who hasn't seen or read it what happens? Has anyone ever done this to you?
memory_storm ruined the ending to Kingdom Hearts, the first Lunar game and Cowboy Bebop for me. My f-list has spoiled me about many things at different times. I... have done minor spoiling except one time I blurted out a a lot of Disney worlds to Jon in Kingdom Hearts and now he doesn't trust me backseat gaming anymore when it comes to RPGs.All that aside, who hasn't been spoiled? On that note, the titanic sinks and Jack dies. ... At the moment I'm taking a small break from my work before I go out and bust ass for not-even-minimum wage. I haven't been doing much besides play Persona 3 (I could actually spout out stuff about that, but...) and I can't believe I'm almost at the end. ;~; I haven't maxed out the star nor the sun social links yet though. D: I guess I always have a 2nd replay. PERSONA BUDDIES, YOU GUYS SHOULD IM ME SOMETIME. I KIND OF LIKE DORKING OUT 24/7 ABOUT THIS (PERSONA 4 INCLUDED). :3 I'm pleased with my Zune today. It played nothing but AKFG, 9mmPB, Nell and the one Pe2ny song with Mithra on it while on shuffle. I also had no idea Rokkugoh was still on it. O_o Lately I've been sleeping for only 5 hours, or sometimes less. Idk, I guess I just don't feel like sleeping. I go to bed at 4am and wake up at 8:30am and do my thing, repeat. I should also get cracking on what I want to formulate for class. He said I should be more confident asking questions, basically, because it sounds like I think my questions are stupid so it makes others question me... that my questions and stuff were actually really good... I think I'll use my pre-interview advice for actual job interviews from now on. I'll do my best. *~* I'd love to do a history documentary but that'd be pushing nerdy. ATM it's about foster children in foster care 'cause it's a close issue to me and I think I can get good material for it. Uh... the buses are discussing now that the federal government has stepped in since Parliament started up again. They're being legislated back. When I was putting the newspapers together, I noticed 36% of the people who responded said they were not going to use the buses ever again. And that was the #1 most responded option, tied with "Express Buses need to come back ASAP". Ouch! Especially since OC did a lot of hardcore advertising to get people to switch to buses. I... am going to set aside $109 for stuff I want, lol. Shopping for the win. And who wants to order Tablo's book for me? LOL, I'll get it somehow but I can only use Paypal so that = yesasia = being ripped off. Oh well. It's Tablo. :3 Now I gotta wait for my mom to come back so I can do my stuff.
