I apologize for not posting in a terrible long while, but unfortunately, time is little for these days with college and other RL issues. And so, I'm opening this community so anyone can become members and any members can post their own recommendation. I do ask that new members follow the posting style to ensure that people don't just copy and paste new links without giving a reason for their recs.

My opinion: "But for the Grace" has 13 chapters full of action and a believable plot. And some of you know how hard it is to find a believable plot in multi-chapters stories. But Refur does it wonderfully. And even re-creates Sam in another universe, not a universe without shrimp but a universe without Dean. And I won't say anything more because I don't want to ruin it. But the story is really good and you should take a look.

I had to wait a little bit to rec this one because I'm trying not to rec uncompleted works but now that it's done I hope you all enjoy it!

My opinion: You will find plenty of fanfics that tell of Sam's first hunt, hunts that went bad while they were kids or teenagers, hunter training and everything supernatural that led them here. But it's also nice to read about other milestones, normal milestones, surely there was also a first step, a first word, a first date, a first break-up... Nvrmore tells us of one those "firsts" in a heart-melting way that is bound to make you smile. Check it out to find out.

Hello!

And late Happy X-mas and early Happy New Year. I can never do anything on time.

Now, I do realize I have been a lame moderator/administrator/poster/web-designer to this comm, it's not even that I don't want to post, I'm on vacation now. Up until February, 2 when I'll find out if I got into college or if I'll be studying for another year. So that's almost a month of vacation 'cause around January 20 I have a test for my back-up college.

That seemed confusing. Starting again. I haven't posted because I haven't found an AMAZING fanfic these days. I mean I found some good, some bad and some horrible (those are out there... I used to write them!) but there wasn't a fanfic that made me cry or one that made me laugh really hard. Something to touch the heart, you know? (I'm getting a little cheesy here)

I'll be looking for new fanfics, as I always do, checking the supernatural page on ff.net everyday and the new stuff on the sn_fic comm and when I find that fic, I'll post it here.

My opinion: Has someone you loved ever asked you one of those "If someone and I were dying, who would you save?" kind of questions? What happens when Dean is the one doing the asking? A chick flick moment with a flashback. Sam is lovely all the way through, always older than he should have been. Dean is less hardened, reminding John he is just a kid. And I very much think this is what John would say and do. Excellent writing and some awesome insights at the Winchesters. Go and check it out!

My opinion: Ok. Read the summary. Don't you think that is just terribly cute? And it gets better! I mean, sure you've read a thousand summaries that looked promissing enough but the fanfic didn't measure up. Ginger Ninja's does. We get to see a still innocent but just as protective Dean and the family's dynamics in the earlier days. Go on and check it out and you'll see what I'm talking about!
