Where is this headed? I have no damn clue, but look, writing. My insides are jumping in glee, even if this goes nowhere and it sucks and the characters aren't quite right. There are words here on this page and they are not rants, they are part of a story. Hooray!
It was Travis who started calling the "minis" pimps-in-training. Brendon thought it was hilarious and shared it with the nine-year-olds as though he were sharing some sort of words of wisdom; Spencer was unsurprised at how easily it caught on, but still rather disturbed by the whole thing.
"I'm pretty sure," Spencer said, leaning over to steal a bite of Ryan's sandwich while they were waiting to film the next scene, "that those kids parents' are not going to appreciate that nickname."
"Who cares?" Ryan asked and Spencer wondered when his best friend had become so carefree. Probably it was around the time Jon had starting sharing his weed.
"Someone ought to," Spencer shrugged.
"Well, its your boyfriend's fault."
Spencer let his eyes narrow. Travis was not his boyfriend.
"Travis is not my boyfriend."
Ryan lifted an eyebrow, then rolled his eyes.
"Who are you trying to kid with that?" he asked, then took another bite of his sandwich.
"Travis is not my boyfriend," Spencer said again, this time slower, because Ryan seemed to have suffered some sort of brain damage from the last time he saw him, which was less than twenty minutes ago, so that was some fucking feat.
"Yeah, okay," Ryan shrugged. "Whatever."
"He's not."
"Okay. I'm not arguing with you."
"You're also not agreeing with me. Let's pretend for a moment that I've known you since we were kids."
"Yeah, let's," Ryan rolled his eyes again.
Spencer contemplated pouting, than realized he was not Brendon Urie... or an actual nine-year-old. So instead he stuck his tongue out, because that was totally the mature thing to do in this sort of situation.
