Hey, and welcome to Slash_Friction. Here you may post any ficticious story you want, whether it's fanfiction or an original fic, as long as you follow the rules, which are pretty simple and listed below. But before the rules, this:
Disclaimer: We do not own or know anyone mentioned in these fanfictions, nor to we pretend to. They are their own people who make their own choices, and these stories are not meant to reflect in any way those personal choices. Any likeness to actual events is coincidental. In short: Fake stories about real people. No disrespect intented. No profit made.
Now the rules :P
1) All stories MUST be fiction and MUST include a disclaimer that declares that what you have written is fiction and if it is about real people the disclaimer must state that you do not own or know the people in your story. This is just in case someone tries to sue. Hopefully no one would be that lame but you never know. Stories should also include warnings so that if they contain something that someone is uncomfortable with they will know prior to reading. Some things that warrent warnings are: dub-con, non-con/rape, violence, gore, death, self-harm, extreme humiliation, D/s, BDSM, and pretty much any fetish/kink. If you have to ask if you should warn for it, include it in your warnings. Ratings are required. Titles (obviously) - if you don't have a title just call it "untitled" - and chapter numbers (links to previous chapters are also nice).
2) Absolutely NO posting any entries that aren't your own outside of this community. That includes linking fics to the people they're about. That is NOT cool at all, and will result in you being removed and blocked.
3) This is a slash community. For those who aren't sure, "slash" is the term used for anything depicting two men or two women together. So your stories should be slash if they have any pairings. There may be het, but only as a sideline, or flash backs, not as the main focus.
4) Please post your entries behind an LJ cut. If you're not sure of what this is or how to do it please ask...I'm happy to help.
5) If you are unsure about your story (grammar, spelling, puctuation, etc) please use a beta. Feel free to ask me if you have no one else.
6) Please respect other people who are posting. If you have a problem with someone contact me and I will try my best to fix the problem. Drama is bad enough in real life...we don't need it on the internet too. Respect includes no bashing ships that you don't like. If you don't like it, don't read it.
7) Pimping other communities, etc., is fine, just don't spam us. And if you're going to pimp a comm here, pimp this comm somewhere else as well :)
8) ENJOY! Have fun posting and reading other people's posts.
