Several people were asking us to notify them when colours were back in stock e.g. Atomic Pink so we have added a function for this on the website - you can now see all 'sold out' items and can enter your name and email address to be notified as soon as the colour comes back into stock. Just click on the link underneath the item and the minute it comes back into stock or the pre-order option is activated you will receive an email (one email only about this product being in stock and you will not be added to any mailing list or newsletter etc).

Many customers and visitors were asking about the out of stock SFX colours (espec Atomic Pink) so we have now added a section on the News & Updates page about these colours along with information on when they should be back in stock - at present its looking like around 22nd September if SFX dispatch them when they are hoping to. I have been in the habit of using SFX burgundy wine mixed with a bit of blood red on my hair... now however Im just about out of burgundy wine, and don't have the fundage at the moment to buy more. I do however have an almost full bottle of Deep Purple, and an unopened bottle plus about 1/4 of another bottle of Blood Red. Has anyone ever tried mixing these colors to get a Burgundy color? I know that burgundy is basically a red-violet shade on the color wheel, so it makes sense that it would work - I'm just not sure what the ratio would be, and am afraid to just play chemist for fear of wasting precious dye... so if anyone has ever done this I'd appreciate input. Mostly how much of each color to use. I'd like to achieve something similar to Burgundy Wine, maybe a little redder and a hair less purple. Any suggestions?

Special Effects now hope to be shipping their out of stock colours around mid September instead of the end of September as previously quoted. If all goes according to plan we should get a full delivery of all colours before the end of September as delivery from sfx to us takes around 7 days.

The out of stock colours with Special Effects are Atomic Pink, Blue Mayhem, Deep Purple, Pimpin Purple & Toner with Nuclear Red and Cupcake Pink recently added to that list. We still have stock of Blue Mayhem, Toner & Nuclear Red but are low on Cupcake Pink so grab that quick if you need it.
