Secret Santa 2008
Welcome to Livejournal Secret Santa 2008
Secret Santa is a Western holiday tradition in which members of a group are randomly assigned other members to whom they anonymously give a gift. Often practiced in workplaces, or amongst large families, participation in it is usually voluntary. It offers a way for many people to give and receive a gift at low cost to those involved.
Membership to this community is moderated.
Once you have been approved, you will be given posting access to the community.
Please fill out the Application Form at the bottom of this page, post it as an entry and tag with your username.
Please also e-mail your name, postal address and LJ username to the moderators at hikeonwheels@gmail.com
Your address details will be passed to your Secret Santa once the draw has taken place.
We will leave membership open until November 20th 2008.
After this date, a draw will take place and you will be allocated a fellow community member. You are now their Secret Santa!
Gifts should be to the value of 5GBP, not including postage.
Once you have posted your gift, we ask that you inform us via a post on the community so that we can keep track of the Secret Santas. Please ensure your gifts are posted before the last Christmas posting date!
