As people who are going to Whitby have probably discovered by now, we shall sadly not be attending this one as we have no holiday left after going to Lanzarote last week, we shall however be in Bristol tommorrow night to see The Birthday Massacre xxx |

Hello, just to let everyone know I have finished my first tiring, hard but pleasantly better than expected week in my new role as Customer Manager at First Assist in the More Than Travel insurace department.
My wages from my old job were due to go in on 31st of may but they didn't, I rang up and was told that they were not paid so they don't know when we will!?
I don't get paid till 25th for this job, and that wont be a full month, so I am really struggling at the moment no money for buses food etc!
My birthday was also quite good apart from a man spitting on me, I was not as grumpy as I thought, though I still think I am having an early mid life crisis!!
Anyway I will update more on that later with photos, I need a wee! xx |

Right its my 25th birthday on Monday (how depressing!) am off to mothers tomorrow for run to the Sun, meal etc back tues will let you know how it goes, weather is meant to be crap though!! x |

Bugger and Bollocks!!
I had a call from work today and they said that they were very sorry but the client we work for has no work for us for up to three months and they can't afford to suspend us on pay, so thats that really. If we find other jobs which I am going to have to do (I have been into Reed today to look for temping stuff and there is work its just crap stuff that I would rather not do, but then if its only for up to three months maybe..?) to let them know, and they will give me a reference.
Whats even more annoying is that I had applied for a managers role (Quality assurance supervisor) and I think I had a good chance of getting it, my interview was this friday.
They did say the offer will still stand though.
I feel a bit of Deja Vu though cuz its the same managers as Market Reach who set up independently after it went down (into insolvency) and we all lost our jobs with no pay. This is a completely different situation though, we rely on another company to give us work that we do on behalf of various business partners and there is just no work, thats across the board too, as the other independent companies in the UK and abroad are also affected.
Beside having no money which is a major problem (please send any donations to paypal roxanneghost@hotmail.com - joking!!) especially as its my 25th this month and we were planning on doing something special, also I don't have the phone numbers for a lot of the people I worked with whom I had grown close to, but its one of the girls wedding on sunday and I may see a few people there.
So thats it really, I have dyed my hair, will post pics soon!
