Mine was pretty good. Just me and Savvy at home, I cooked for
hours and it was all pretty much yummy, including the easiest and best
dessert evah - cappaccino pie. Played video games with Savvy in between
basting the turkey. hee.
Then went to see my mom, who's doing very well with her physical
therapy. I do find it annoying though, that they put her in the
farthest flippin hospital from where we live... because really, I need
to put another hundred miles on my car every day. uh-huh.
But we made it home just at 8. She's seen the previews for the remake
of Yours, Mine & Ours, so I watched the original on TCM with her
tonight, then the end of Finding Nemo. Overall it was a good day.
No blasted relatives. LOL
Aeon Flux? I don't hate Charlize, but dude, seriously, it just can't be as good as the cartoon/anime... whichever is PC for ya.
So waffling on Narnia. I just can't feel the love for it, I suppose that could change.
The previews for Kong on the other hand look faboo! Except maybe the dinosaurs, WTF? This is Kong not Godzilla kthanx.
Lost? No spoilers here, it's just... Michelle Rodriguez. I do like her.
I do. Just not so much on Lost. Is it too much to hope that Kate will
completely kick her ass soon?
...speaking of Lost. I had the strangest post-Gilligan-esque thought
today. Flash forward 5 years, they've been rescued and can't deal with
being back in the real world. Hurley buys the island, names it
Dharmaville, and they all move back to their lost boys-lord of the
flies retreat and live happily ever after. =D I dunno, but it would
make an intersting fic. LOL
And if anyone missed it, Alias is changing nights, next week starts on
Wed at 8 or 9, I forget which. Either way it completely fucks up my
videotaping. grrr.
I get a phone call this morning from a lady I've traded shifts with before. She's desperate to have the night off tomorrow night to take her 10 yr old daughter to a HP thing at the bookstore. heh. Lucky for her I've yet to fall prey to the HP-mania around the globe... it's all stubborness really, it's not like I haven't seen the movies. So anyway, I put them both out their misery and pick up this womans shift. God knows I know what it's like to be desperate to have a day off for some fandom/concert thing. I think I'll get her to snag one of my hobbit days for me in August. Payback is a good thing. :D

...and speaking of crazy business I think I've finally nailed down my fall school schedule. Got the grant the I needed, so I'm taking a full time schedule - barely - 12 hours. So between that and work and Savvy's school I shall be busy until... well Christmas. LOL. Stopping only for short breaks with hobbits and Nine Inch Nails... and hopefully one small CR show in there somewhere. :)

Can you imagine Dean actually watching Babe? LOL now that's a thought for the fanfic writers.
Sorry.
