When posting in this community, please be careful mentioning specific locations of your college/university and names of students. As RAs we are constantly in the public eye. We are bound by confidentiality in our contracts. Please keep this in mind while having fun in this community at the same time.
Also, every RA has their own ethics towards their job. For example, one RA may believe if they see something that's not right and if they're not on duty, they don't have to take care of it; or you are an RA and you are 21 and you subject yourself to a party where other residents are there who are under 21. Rules, policies and procedures differ from school to school!
MOST OF ALL, have fun! RAs are pretty special people. Know that our rewards from being an RA comes from fleeting moments that lasts maybe seconds long, but that it's all worth it, and that you're not alone. Bitch or gloat, this community is here for support!
