Varun Manjunatha is a Research Scientist at Document Intelligence Lab, Adobe Research, Maryland, since January 2019. His research interests are at the intersection of Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. He received his Ph.D from the Computer Science department at the University of Maryland, College Park, under the supervision of Prof. Larry Davis. He is a recipient of the John Gannon Fellowship and his work has been covered by MIT Tech Review, Digital Trends, etc. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, quiz bowl and exploring trails on his bicycle.
