Welcome to Poetry in Digital.

This is an open community; anyone can watch or participate in the poetry aspect of it, and also reading or browsing the pictures.

Also, not too many people are turned away who want to do the photography aspect of it, either.

let me explain further.

The concept of Poetry in Digital is to allow digital photography to inspire poety or prose. The kind of digital photography that might not be perfect, might not be conventional, and might not be stereotypically unconventional... we're just looking for something unigue.

Here's how it works:

To Share How You've Been Inspired by the Photos:
There are going to be posts on here, sort of little, digital online exhibits; showcases of the photographers works. These are going to be behind cuts, and the photographer/artist is going to introduce his or her work, and name their exhibit as they see fit. This is where the spectators come in. In the comments of these posts, anyone is free to submit anything he or she would like to: Poetry, prose, more art... anything that the photographs inspired you to create. This is open to anyone, member or non member. Feel free.

To Be a photgraphy/ Share Your Work and Inspire with an Exhibit:
Apply for community membership, and post in this post a sample of a few photographs you have snapped with your digital camera. It's not too tough to get accepted; we're just trying to keep it tasteful and in control here. After you are accepted, you can put together exhibits and post whenever you would like.

About Exhibits:
- Each exhibit should have at least three photographs to share in it.
- No theme is needed, but if you feel like you want to use one, feel free.
- Photos can be cropped, or colours can be brought out, or altered slightly, but other than that, not many photoshopping affects should be used.

For First Time Users:
How to Use Simple Steps:
a)Browse the Posts of pictures.
b)If one inspires you to write something, do so.
c)Leave your work as a comment to the post in which you found the picture that inspired you.

It's that simple.

Hold nothing back. Let your imagination run free.

No hostility towards artists, photographers or people who share their work will be tolerated.

3. Are you really bored right now? Is that why you created this community? Answer: Yes. That, and it should be an interesting place to hang out.
