So, you might have noticed I haven't posted anything in ages...well, I lost a lot of my old stuff, and I've just been too busy to make icons. But I'm hoping to get to do it a little more often, now that I have Photoshop again and most of my resources back.
To celebrate, I've made a shiny new place for all my icons! carelessmonday! Feel free to watch. I've only posted 1 batch of icons so far, but I plan on doing much more, of course. ;3

The last two Christmases, you may have remembered, I posted big bunches of anime Christmas/Holiday-themed icons. Well, I wanted to continue that tradition this year...however, I've been running into a lot of problems. (First it was my hosting acting wonky, then it was my Photoshop crashing and me loosing about 15 or so icons that were half done x__x) So, here are the ones I have finished. I wish I could've done more, but you can always check out my old holiday icon posts here and here.
I've been having some problems with my picture hosting service, so it's looking like for now, old icons and my layout aren't showing up. Hopefully it's just some technical difficulties, but I'll keep you all updated. If it's still acting like this on Monday, I'll have to just upload all the stuff I finished onto Photobucket or something. :/
I know that all of you are already being bombarded with information about the current state of the New Orleans flooding, but all the same, I urge all of you who haven't yet to consider donating to The American Red Cross. I personally know a few people who are down there, and they need every little bit they can. They need drinking water, they need food, they need the very basic things in life right now--because some of them (MANY of them) have lost everything.
Even if you can't donate much: a few cents, a few dollars, it doesn't matter. You can donate online, and many physical locations (supermarkets, Wal-Marts, ect.) have set up donation stations.
If you can, also please consider donating blood as well, or instead of money.
These people truely need everything you can spare to give.
My very first texture image pack is now up for download! I made this from photos I took all over Seattle specifically for this project. ^^ This image pack includes 24 100x100-sized texture bases, ready for iconing!

No icons right now (I'm working on some, though!), but I'd like to take a moment to pimp the awesome community ps7_tutorials. A lot of people have asked me how I do certain things over the years, and I'm always HORRIBLE at explaining things....blumchen does an awesome job, her tutorials are informative and super-easy to understand. Check them out, for anyone who uses Photoshop 7!

Just a reminder, Hotlinking icons is NEVER a nice thing to do. I, like many other people, PAY for my bandwidth, so whenever someone directly links icons or images from my personal server, I END UP PAYING FOR IT.
THIS PERSON is offically the first person of 2005 to hotlink icons of mine. She has many other icons made by people around LJ, so if you're an icon maker yourself, I suggest looking through her stuff to see if she's sucking up your bandwidth as well. :/ (Not only icons but webgraphics as well!)
