Some patterns are expensive and others you can't find at your local craft store. You've done everything you feel you can with it and want to try something different, others feel the same way. Dump off your unwanted patterns in exchange for someone else's in this community. Or just talk about sewing. As for me, I have tons of vintage 50's to post once we get some members here. This place is mostly for trading patterns without exchanging money, but if you feel what you got is very desirable or a large assortment, you can also sell it for no more than 10 bucks. There aren't any rules per-say, just you *shouldn't* lj-cut your image so nobody has to scan through a ton of entries and miss something that may catch their eye. I'd prefer that you made any pictures resonably small; you can make a small thumbnail linked to a full size view if you wish to show details. Promote anything you'd like as long as it's sorta craft related (other communities, websites, ebay auctions, etc). I don't really mind what you do! Keep in mind that older patterns may be sized differently; if no measurements are given make sure you ask before confirming a trade or sell.
