I don't normally read this type of books - I prefer something "deeper", not to sound snobbish or anything. But I just picked up "The Bride and the Beast" by Teresa Medeiros in my library and decided to give it a try. As the title implies, the book is somewhat similar to "The Beauty and the Beast" with a slight difference: everything is quite realistic and the main heroine is not so innocent and naive, as the main hero is not such a beast from the very beginning. But if you're after some light and girlish romantic novel, I think it's worth trying - just for fun :)
