「go home」と「get home」の違い|“ホーム?”

    🟦go home も get home も両方OKだけど…

    ① go home(行く・動き)

    • I go home at 6.

    ②get home(到着)

    • I got home at 6.

    👉 get=到着(arrive)

    • get here(ここに来る)

    • get there(そこに行く)

    • get home(家に着く)

    • How did you get here?

How did you get to work?
・How did you travel to work?

    • How did you get to work?

    • I got to the station.

    👉 副詞(home / here / there)

    • How did you get here?

    • I got home at 6.

    • We got there late.

    👉 home / here / there は前置詞いらない

    "What brought you to Japan?"

    "What brought you here?"

    "What brought you to here?"

    🟦 travel to work は「トラベル」じゃない。

    • How did you travel to work?

    • How did you get to work?

    "travel to work"は"travel"じゃない。

・get to work / get to the station

・get + 副詞 get home / get here / get there

    ❌ get to home
    ❌ get to here

    👉 get to work(to必要)
    👉 get home(to不要)

    👉 home / here / there は副詞

    👉 here / there / home は“副詞”だから不要

    • How do you get to the station?
      👉 station(名詞)→ to 必要

    • How did you get here?
      👉 here(副詞)→ to いらない

    👉 I got to the airport.(名詞)
    👉 I got here.(副詞)
    👉 I got home.(副詞)

    ❌ get to here
    ❌ go to home

    🟦giving directions and helping others

    Duolingo

    Speaking

    外国人:「Which platform?」
外国人: 「Does it mean go home?」

    👉 go home

    👉 get home

    👉 platform

    • get here

    • get there

    • get home

    👉 get into
    例:
・How did you get into English?
・get into trouble / get into the habit
    👉 get over
    ・get over a cold / get over a breakup
    👉 get along
    ・get along with coworkers
