    🟦Labor day

    "Labor Day?"
I suddenly remembered that an American teacher once told me,

“Labor Day is similar to Japan’s Labor Thanksgiving Day.”

Labor Day / May Day

Labor Day

Labor Day is on different days depending on the country.

・In Japan and Singapore, it’s May 1st, but in the U.S., it’s in September.

    • Do you celebrate Labor Day?

    • When is Labor Day in your country?

In Japanese, dates are irregular
but in English, they follow a clearer pattern.
That’s why learners sometimes get confused.

Even for us, “16th” can be a bit tricky to say.

    ・May 4th → May fourth

    ・May 8th → May eighth

    🟦How was your day.

English has many expressions that connect with people’s feelings.

    例
    How was your day?
    How do you like it?
How do you feel about that?
    How are you feeling?

    "Golden Week"

    "Oh yeah!
    👋 high-five"

    Golden Week
The period known as Golden Week is a series of national holidays, combined with weekends, in late April and early May.
