心の目でみる~See with the eyes of my heart~

毎日を生きている時　人生は無限にあるように思える
同じような日々が繰り返されるような　淡々とした感覚
でも　本当はみんな　限られた命を削りながら生きている

与えられた時間の量は　人それぞれ　
多いことがいいわけでも　少ないのが悪いわけでもない
でも　それがいつ終わるかは誰にもわからない

朝起きると　昨日と同じに見える空
同じ顔　同じシゴト　同じ日常
でも　本当に同じ瞬間は二度と来ない

いつも　じゃない　今がそこにある
いつも　新しい目で　見てみる
いつも　目の前のことに　感謝する

当たり前は　当たり前じゃないから

As we go about our daily lives   life can seem endless
Even when I feel a sense of monotony－as if the same days are repeating themselves
The truth is that we are all living by chipping away at our limited time

The amount of time we are given varies from person to person
It is not necessarily better to have more
Nor is it necessarily worse to have less
Yet no one knows when it will end

When I wake up in the morning   
The sky looks the same as yesterday
The same faces   The same work   The same routine
Yet the same moment will never come again

It is not “always”—it is “now” that is here
Always try to see things with fresh eyes
Always be grateful for what is right in front of you

Since what we take for granted is not really a given
