ANNNND, TOO MUCH TIME ON MY HANDS. Huzzah. Leave a comment if I left anything out.

Needs coffee.

My life has been so crazy lately, its been great to stay home over spring break. I've slept more in a week than I have in nearly two months. Oh, the pleasure. Going to bed at three AM and waking up at noon.

Awesome.

Just finished my Sophomore Writing Project research packet ten minutes ago, which is good - considering its worth 20% of my grade. I just felt like doing absolutely nothing this week. The play took up so much of my time, I forgot what it was like to not be stressed. Its been so long since I posted here, I guess I forgot to tell you guys that I got into the spring production, Steel Magnolias.

If you've ever seen the movie or the play, you should know who Ousier is. Well, that's me. If you haven't seen it, Ousier is a 65 year old woman living in Louisiana who hates men, vegetables, and the world. She has more money than God and a dog named Rhett. She is always angry at something or someone.

My friend's find it hilarious that I don't even have to act. Meh. I guess that says something about my personality, even though I like to think of myself as witty rather than crotchety. Oh well. I have fun making myself a nasty old woman every night.

After the show, without make up. Chillin' at Denny's at two AM.
Me without make up after the show. Chillin' at Denny's at two AM. (Clairee is the one with her tongue sticking out.)

Before the show with M'lynn. I hate that wig. SO ITCHY. Ugh.

I have more pictures - an especially funny one of Opening Night - but I don't want to spam you all, so this is it for now. I hope everyone had a good Easter, if you celebrate it, and so on. :D

[EDIT: Oh, and Phe, if your reading this, I have nearly half of the next chapter of Stumble done. Just trying to figure out if I should have a good amount of our Akatsuki in it. We shall see.]

Kidnapping, Ransom, and Comic Con

 YEEEYA.

My favorite Neenja, AKA Brielle, sent me a message this morning informing me - very politely, mind - that she intends to kidnap me sometime Friday morning. I was, understandably, alarmed. Normally, when she says things like "kidnapping" and "ransom" and "your bloody carcass" it means I am going to be dragged to something uncomfortable/awkward/ridiculous.

AND THEN. I scrolled down, as directed, and what did I find? THIS: "Let me restate the question and answer: WHY THE F#$% Would anyone want to kidnap YOU?

Smile, To Force you to go to Comic/Anime Con in Sacremento :3"

ZOMGHAPPIDAAANCE. No joke. I actually did a flailing, twirling, squealing dance in the center of my bedroom. I didn't even know we had a Comic Con in Sac. BUT APPARENTLY WE DO.
Now, what the hell should I wear?

DOWN WITH TEEN ANGST

I've had a pretty stressful week, but I figured I'd post something other than angst on here for once. So. I am going to make a list of ten good things that have happened this month - hopefully before Genius man comes to pick me up for the gingerbread house making contest.
  1. Started talking to Complainer again.  Sort of. Still working that out.
  2. Aced my World History exam.
  3. Had several people recognize my artist skillz.
  4. Been called adorable exactly thirty-six times.
  5. Realized my freckles are fading.
  6. Painted my nails - thumbs silver glitter, the rest plum.
  7. Got a rose.
  8. Watched Johnny Bravo for the first time in years. ("HOO-HA BABY!")
  9. Splashed in puddles.
  10. Recieved my informational packet for the Art University of San Francisco.
Not too shabby, eh? c:

Bury yourself in a hole for me.

 FML.

Its the end of the Fall term at DO and I am feeling the pinch. Grades will be out in two weeks - official, college-bound grades - and I know they will be up, I know they will, but I still feel the crushing anxiety that comes with doubt. What if one of my teachers enters something wrong? What if I crash and burn on my final's?

Good Gods, I'm driving myself insane. Not only is it Final's Time, but its Christmas Time. I can certainly learn to hate the four-by-four system we have at school. Cramming a years worth of knowledge into four and a half months is insanity. And life has a way of kicking you when your down, doesn't it?

i.e: I woke up this morning, prepared to finish all my French 2 homework and get ready for Brielle's Christmas party - but when I walked downstairs, Mother was crying and telling me that "the cat's have to go." Apparently, the boy's (my new kitten's I may or may not have mentioned on here, William Charles Pierre the First and Mellow) are turning into Tom's and peeing everywhere.

Her boyfriend, Codename: STFU, did not like that very much. He demands that they go. I was understandably distressed. This is our house, not his. Douche. I can't talk to him. I know that if I do more than stand there and stare at him blankly, I'll explode like I did on Batshit StepMother. Knowing how that turned out, I'm going to try my best to ignore him. Mother says that we'll get them fixed and see what happens, but if they don't stop they "need to get the fuck outta here." (STFU, speaking.)

I hate him.

So. That kind of brought me down. (My babies being sloughed off to some stranger or euthanized in a shelter? Try eating breakfast after that.) But, I finished my homework to try and get my mind off of it and I'm spending the night at Brielle's and goddamnit I'm not getting rid of my cat's, you asshole!

Rant over.

On a better note, I watched Old School for the first time last night and loved it. Funny as hell. And I started on Christmas gifts, because I don't want to stress out like I did last year when I waited until the very last minute to do everything.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving/whateveryoucelebrate and an even better Christmas Countdown started. Oh, and if anyone happens to remember what Future Foe Scenarios is, then you'll be happy to note that I've started the (massive) corrections and the next chapter.

PS. WOOT TO TREESON FOR UPDATING. I <3 WRL.

Writer's Block: In the jungle

Which animal would you choose to be for a day, and why?

Platypus. Straight up.
This week has sucked. Seriously. Youdon'thaveagoddamnedclue.

School has begun again, not so bad, in itself--but goddamn my teachers suck. They are the kind of teachers who make you hate your favorite subjects and you just want to punchinfreakingfacebecauseyoufuckingloveHistoryANDYOURUINEDIT.

Anyway. As the week progressed, I A) learned one of best friends is a complete and totally douchebucket, B) had to run a mile and a half in 109 degree weather on a track that is five degrees hotter than that, and C) broke my goddamn wrists.

That's right. Both. And they wouldn't even let me keep the x-rays. (Apparently they don't do hardcopies anymore. Bastards.) I don't even know when I broke them, either. It could have been any number of times:
  1. When I fell down the stairs last month. Twice.
  2. When I tripped over my toes and fell out of the car in Malibu.
  3. Or any of the other falls I've taken recently, considering I trip myself at least five times a day.
Thats not even counting when I walk into doors, walls, ect.
Their relatively minor fractures, but still.Broken Bones are Broken For those of you who don't know where the radius and ulna are, I've been all handydandy and marked them on photoshop. They also found a pretty sick bone anomaly on both my wrists while I was there, too. Thats the red line--exact same place on both wrists. The green line is where I fractured it. Obviously not my hand, I stole it from Google.

Oh, and I caught a cold from the hospital.

My face has gained a good twenty pounds in the last three days. I look like a goldfish, chipmunk, hippo.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA THE PAIN.

I went in to the dentists office worried only about whether or not the surgeon/dentist would be able to administer the IV correctly. I really should have been more worried about the impending  anesthesia and ripping out of my teeth.

Getting knocked out was kind of fun, though. He inserted the IV quickly and cleanly and then the colors of the room started to melt together and tilt. I can't remember much after that. I woke up nearly an hour later crying and wailing that MY MANDIBLE HURTS AND MY FACE AND TEETH AND OMG.

The nurses felt terrible and started trying to make me feel better while the dentist/surgeon gave me two more shots in the gums and one really painful one in the arm. I sort of calmed down after that, but I was still massively whacked out from all the drugs.

I get home, I go to sleep. I wake up the next morning and my face is twice as big as before.

You have to understand how weird this looks. I have a tiny face, normally. A tiny nose, small lips, huuuge eyes. So when my face exploded, all you could see was my eyes.

That was bad, but yesterday was waaay worse. I woke up early because I was in a lot of pain, looked in the mirror and nearly died. My cheeks somehow managed to get bigger and I was bruising. I have two black eyes, a black jawline, and purple spots all along my cheeks.

PFFFFFF. Also. Stitches suuuuck.

Braces are Fuck

I knew I was going to be sore. I really did.

What I didn't account for, however, was the actual pain of my bones re-aligning.

I can't eat. I can't touch my teeth in anyway. I can't even constrict my teeth too fast. I was trying to floss, and I got it stuck on one of the shiny metal pieces. I nearly broke down do to the sheer amount of patheticism.

This was after a) I couldn't eat the bacon pizza I was craving, b) couldn't make kissy noises at Kitteh, c) my blender broke and I couldn't make myself a milkshake, d) Kitteh peed on my bed, e) couldn't take a nap on my freshly washed bed sheets because of d, and f) the entire bone structure of my face felt like it  had been kicked in.

ALSO. My wisdom teeth, under normal, not toddler-sized-mouths circumstances, wouldn't have to be pulled. But, since I am never that lucky--they all do. Next month. Then I get spacers. Then two years from now, I get jaw surgery.

WTF. DDD:
