This is a community dedicated to Ryo Mizuno's Rune Soldier. This 24 episode series is a hilarious counterpoint to Mizuno's famous work, Record of Lodoss War. Despite having an entertaining story and beautiful animation there are hardly any fansites for Rune Soldier. Hopefully this community will be one step in the right direction to change that! If you have any Rune Soldier fanart, fanfiction, color bars, icons, etc. here's the place to post them!
The entire anime series has been released by ADV. There is also a Rune Soldier manga. As of now, ADV-Manga has released four volumes in the States.
If you would like to read more about the series Anime on DVD has very detailed reviews on all six DVDs.
To prevent drama, there are a few rules:
1. Please be respectful of one another.
2. Don't bash characters. If you do not like a character there is nothing wrong with discussing why you dislike them. "He/she sucks!" will not be an acceptable reason here.
3. Please use the LJ-cut tag when posting fanart, fanfics, and spoilers! If you feel that the content of your post is too mature in nature, put it under and LJ-cut. If want to post more than 3 icons please put them under a Lj-cut. If you are not sure how to do this check here.
Also when posting fanart and fanfics use these headers:

4. Rune Soldier is an anime with lots of potential pairings. With this in mind don't start any ship wars. They are quite ugly. Feel free to discuss why you like/support a particular pairing but don't start any of that OTP stuff. Thank ye kindly.
5. Don't spam the community with things such as quizzes and advertisements for other communities (example: r u hot or not!?) unless they are strongly related to the series.
The most important thing is for all of us to have fun and that's easier to do when we're considerate of one another. If you don't follow these rules you will get
