| So... Rave is good etc etc and it's great that this group exists, but lets have some discussion of good and bad raves in the Leeds area maybe? Like for instance, let me kick this off with Cabbage. Cabbage is a great psy-trance rave held at the West Indian center and, other than Kulu in Bradford, it's got to be one of my faves. Amazing atmosphere, amazing people, amazing night. Anyone else visit regularly? I'm sure you do, so tell us!! | ||||||

I am in urgent need of money, therefore I am selling some items, including quite a lot of records from my collection. Please take a look and spread the word, it's for a VERY noble cause!. It would be great if you made this list circulate among your friends who may want to buy something, just tell them to email me at: alberthofer (at) gmail (dot) com. I will take cash, paypal and uncrossed postal orders. I'd rather avoid cheques as they get too messy. I will ship anywhere in the world, provided that you'll cover for the postage. I can show you my kick-ass ebay feedback, if you need further reassurance. Most items are in perfect, brand new conditions. Email me with an offer for each, and we'll negotiate a final price. I'll be honest but please make me decent offers, some of these records are worth quite a bit. Records List Part 1 (hard house/trance/nrg): ( Read more...Collapse ) |

Right then, time to make this community a bit more alive... *performs voodoo reincarnation ritual* It lives!! It lives!! hehehe Right, anyone here who knows any lj ravers in Leeds or the surrounding area, or who are interested, get them to join this community! =P Even if they don't want to post anything, just get them to join anyway... If more people are there to read it, I know i'd put loads more stuff up in here, but there's a bit of a circular problem going here at the minute cos no one wants to join a dead community - but that's the only way it'll get alive... So, lets get it going shall we ;) Cheers guys n gals ;) *bighugs* |

Hi folks! Just a quick reminder that hard techno guru Lars Klein will be appearing at Fusion at Stinkys Peephouse on Friday (tonight). Also in accompaniment will be local tearaway talent Evil Ed and Dirty sanchez. If you've not been down before you can expect the usual Euphonic top party atmosphere and some of the best industrial/hard and acid techno to be found anywhere in the North. One of the few places you can also hear what is being dubbed as "shranz" techno by the industry boffins. A new twist on heavy industrial european techno which has producers scratching their heads all over the country wondering just where it came from and how it's done. If you want to see it first hand then get yourselves down tonight. Also if it proves too much which it does even for the likes of me you have the Nomadz soundsystem downstairs playing innovative breaks and beats in a clean, friendly, chilled environment. This venue is superb and one of the best Leeds has to offer. Its a night you can come out as clean as you went in. I'm sure thats a novelty for some of you. Mind you, if you're not a bit rough by the end then you kinda missed the point. Flyer here... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.north80/march.jpg http://homepage.ntlworld.com/peter.north80/fusion.jpg Hope to see some of you down. Bring your crew!! Take care, Pete www.acidtrash.net |
