Hey! Well I just came across this community and joined tonight, so I thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm Elizabeth, an Aussie Jesus freak and fellow K Max fan. Looks like a great thing happening here and I'm looking forward to reading along and joining in!

Oh oh! I've been meaning to post and announce...
I just would like to say that I finally found a copy of The Impostor last week! It's wonderful... more polished than Between the Fence and the Universe, and probably not so offbeat as Stereotype Be. "Your Beautiful Mind," "Sanctuary," and "Platform" are the songs that stand out to me most right now. I approve. ^_^
Curious if anyone else has it, since people seemed to be having trouble finding it a while back. If you have Borders bookstores where you live, then check there, because that's where I got mine (last copy, w00t! :D) Plus, Kevin mentioned on MySpace a while back that it was being sold in Borders, so I'm sure it wasn't a fluke...

Hey all.
I have a DC Talk Limited Edition CD as well as Stereotype Be by Keven Max up for auction on eBay. The Limited Edition CD is quite rare and contains 2 live songs and an interview. I'm selling them because I just don't listen to them anymore. A hardcore DCT fan should not pass this up!

Has anyone gotten The Imposter yet? I looked for it in two Christian bookstores today, and neither one had it. :/ I will probably end up ordering it online. If you've gotten it, what did you think of it?

I finished drawing Kevin Max tonight! I sketched him last night and got a lot of the charcoal done, but there is SO much black in the photo, it took a really long time to fill everything in with the charcoal. I probably spent close to 5 hours total on this. I'm pleased with it. :)

Hi, new here!
I'm 22, I've been a fan of dcTalk since early high school. I'm a big fan of theirs. Therefore I love Toby's, Tait's, and Kevin Max's solo stuff.
[I met Toby and Tait in October! A day of total euphoria!].

Well, the word is out that Kevin Max is sheduled for Cornerstone Florida this year. :)
Of course, nothing's set in stone, but if you live in or near the central Florida area and would like to see him, you might want to make plans to come out! Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14.
Wow.. here I thought I'd never see a K-Max concert, and I get two within a year of each other? Crazy. I'm surprised, because I thought he had given up on Christian venues and events, but I guess that changed...

I am reading a book that I think everyone of you should get and read. Al got it for me for Christmas. It is called ordinary women Extraordinary God. It is a collection of stories of the lives of women of the Bible. From Mary Magdelene to Hannah, to Dorcas, and Ruth-you can literally see yourself in their flaws and gain hope to learn from your failures by seeing how they did. Anyway it is an excellent book. Well, as promised, an after concert review... I did see Kevin Max last night! ^^ He put on a great concert... a nice mix of songs from both albums, a few 80's covers (that most of the audience didn't know... heh), and even a few Jesus Freak-era DC Talk songs. It was great. I'm glad I got to see him. I'm just sad that the crowd wasn't bigger...
Anyway, if you get a chance to see him in concert, go for it. Good times.
Also, I got my copy of Between the Fence and the Universe and it's awesome as well. Even better on the second listen. I'm really loving "Seek"... :)

So, I was invited to this community a long time ago, but never got around to actually joining, but here I am!
I really like Kevin Max. On all the DC Talk songs, my favorite parts are Kevin's. His voice is awesome and different. Huge fan, have been for years!
