Didn't post yesterday
Yesterday I was grateful for pretty flowers
And grateful for more progress on my felted sculpture of Mr Fothington and Mr Butterworth.
Today I am grateful for Doctor Who and Top Gear to watch
I am grateful that the latest piece of Austen TV wasn't too bad
I am grateful that I was able to fix the mother-in-law's** socks even if it has driven me batshit.
I am grateful for painkillers even if they don't help much
I am grateful for hot showers even though they lower our limited water and use electricity that we can't really afford.
**except she isn't in law because we are still in the dark ages. And no Mum, it is not just a piece of paper. It has many legal rights attached to it that I don't currently have. Ones that my brother had even though he was only married for a year before he separated and that Ruth's brother had even though they'd only known each other 6 months before the wedding.
Maybe I shouldn't have posted tonight either. Those gratefuls are a bit snarky.
I'm sore and fairly depressed so I'm going to go to bed.
To make this post nicer have some wonderful spring pics I managed to eek out of my poor camera

King Parrot in the cherry plum tree. The birds go mad for the blossoms

Heaps Cottage in Spring

Old Man Roo in the Orchard

Then he jumped off down the hill a ways

This one is probably a cherry. It's near thePolice cottage Court House (except it pretty much is a house).
( More pretty springCollapse )
