Sho is a hamster, and like any hamster, he is cute and fluffy, an adorable harry bunddle of joy. The problem? He is male and had not always been a hamster... Or any kind of animal for that matter. No, once upon a time he had been a handsome, young looking ( because let's face it, at the age of thirty, one can hardly say they are still young) HUMAN idol.

Sho doesn't really know how it happened. One night he was HUMAN and falling a sleep and the next morning he was waking up in a sea of silky red fabric. It goes without saying that it had been the most terrifying moment of his like, next to the realization that he was having no dream. Sho had gone into panic then, running around in frenzy all over his apartment, running under his towering furniture, over it and finally into it.

The impact knocks him out. When he regains conciousness, the first thing he sees is the sealing... Or was that the table top? He sits up quickly and feels the cold floor under his still rodent like hands. It feels ceramic in texture, which could only indicate that he was somewhere in his kitchen, under his breakfast table to be exact. Sho finally accepts reality with a sigh and wiggles his nose with determination. He needs to find out how this happened in order to fix it (if there is a way anyway, or else Arashi is screwed) and Sho has a nagging suspicion that Aiba is somehow to blame...

"But it has too!" Nino demanded as he examined the small hole with careful fingers as well, "it can't be that big?"

"But it is." Ohno corrected as he determinedly shoved at the hole to demonstrate.

Nino made a very impressive frown and grunted, snatching both his DSi and the new stylus pen from Ohno's hands.

"Damn it! I just spent like 5 bucks on this stupid thing, too!"

Masaki, what… is that?" Jun asked with a cautious finger pointing at the suspicious lumps on Aiba's stomach. Aiba tried to hold back a giggle.

"this?" he asked patting his stomach lightly "it's my stomach, right?"

" are you an idiot?" Jun laughed. "I obviously meant the lump moving under your sweater"

"oh!~" Aiba tried to play it off "it’s nothing." Jun narrowed his eyes to a dangerous level and Aiba knew that look, he wouldn’t be able to hide anything for long. “Really.” he grinned.

"Aiba you better tell me what you are hiding under there or I just might have to release Nino on you"

”it’s nothing, nothing!" Aiba panicked, if there was anyone who couldn’t play off a lie it was himself.

”what was that?” Jun asked, his suspicion becoming clear.

Aiba's eyes widen "… uh Jun it’s nothing!”

" no" was Jun's simple reply

“but Jun, it was going to die!!!” Aiba protested passionately

“ Aiba, it’s a cat right? a street cat. You can’t go around picking up every stray you find on the road.” Jun tried to reason,” plus this is the green room. Animals are not allowed.”

“ but it’s so cute” Aiba was going to get away with it if his life depended on it “ just look at it!” Aiba tugged the animal gently from under his sweater and presented it to Jun.

It was a baby kitty, a very adorable ball of fur with white fluffy paws and droopy wide eyes.

“ I named it Riida jr.” Aiba beamed “ it looks just like riida, ne?”

Jun let out a small snort forgetting he has been arguing at all. Aiba was right, it strangely enough resembled their precious riida.

“so I can keep it right? I can be it’s mama” Aiba declared with confidence as if he new Jun wouldn’t oppose.

“what’s with that?” Jun asked laughing by this point. It would only ever occur to Aiba, he figured, but that’s why he loved him. Aiba was an idiot and a dork that just melted his heart with every sun shining smile of his.

“ ...well, I guess Riida jr. does need a papa”

It’s a cold morning again. The wind is freezing and the simple thought of going outside is an unpleasant one. It’s the kind of morning any one would hate, but Nino doesn’t, he loves this morning. Truth is, he hates the cold but it’s only in mornings like these that he can find the excuse to roll up next to his precious Riida who is usually still in bed oversleeping.

“I should wake him…” he thinks, “we have a busy day ahead of us”, and it’s a good enough excuse.

“kusssso! It’s cold!” Nino hisses a moment before he flops next to Ohno in his bed. Ohno stirs between his sheets and flutters his eyes for a brief moment.

“Nino” Ohno whispers with a smile. Nino love to hear his name on Ohno’s lips. It always fills him with a warm feeling.

“You’re warm.” Nino admits, Ohno exhales a chuckle. Ohno frees one of his arms from underneath his covers to reach out for Nino’s hand.

“So warm...” Nino can’t help but think as Ohno’s hand strokes lightly at his palm and then his hand wraps tightly with Ohno’s.

“You should get under the covers,” Ohno suggest “it’s a lot warmer under here.”

Nino is tempted to take him up on the offer. He wants to feel Ohno close, feel the heat of his skin on his own, the tickle of his breath against his own nape. Nino exhales, he wishes, but knows he shouldn’t.

“Riida, you are warm…” Nino repeats. “Demo,” he pauses “it’s late, you know?” Nino stays silent almost wanting to take back that statement because he doesn’t want to get up just yet.

“Nino,” Ohno mumbles and pulls Nino’s hand to tuck it comfortably underneath his head, “five more minutes.” He pleads.

“Geez,” Nino doesn’t want to admit defeat, but knows he won’t win against his Riida, or his feelings for that matter, because he loves him and wishes to stay next to him, if possible, forever.

“Ok, five more minutes”

Ohno was quiet, which wasn't unusual... but today Ohno was being extra quiet and absentminded. Nino knew someting was wrong.

"Ohno, come play," Nino cheerfully invited, motioning him by patting the the open space next to him on the couch, " try to beat me in Mario cart!" he added, but Ohno barely showed signs of acknowledgement. Nino sighted, this was like Maou era all over again, back when he seamed drained, walking around like a zombie because of his busy schedule and dark character.

"Ne, Ohno?" Nino whined. He hated seeing him like this and he had a slight idea of why he was acting like this. "Are you ganna miss it that much? acting in Kaibutsu kun?"

Ohno sighted. Nino had guessed it, or so he thought.

"It's not that," Ohno finaly spoke up, "its raining". Now that Nino thought about it, it had been rainin since very early in the morning. " I couldn't go fishing" Ohno finaly said.

" Oh," Nino voiced, he had worried for nothing. "Is that all?" he asked disinterested, and returned all his attention back to his video game.

Ohno pouted.

AN: it was about time for another drabble, you can say this quiet morning was the inspiration.

"I am curious! " Aiba playfully exclaimed. " come on Nino, spill! are you?!" he insisted quite energetically poking at Nino's sides.
"Uzai!" Nino launched at Aiba not so playfully making them both tumble to the floor.
"Itai! Itai! Nino stop! I was joking, joking you know!?" Aiba couldn't stop laughing though, even after Nino had given him one final shove.
Nino got of from the floor very flustered. "I'm not gay idiot!" he argued but Jun and Ohno had walked in the room to witness the scene.
"Who's gay?" Jun asked very amused.
Aiba chuckled loudly... Nino sneered.
Ohno had caught on quite a bit at this point "Ah, sorry Kazu, I don't really bend that way, but my butt will always be there for your grouping," he teased " please keep taking good care of it." Ohno bowed playfully.
Nino was mortified with embarrassment. He would kill Aiba...soon, very soon.
"Who'd want to touch your gay butt! Idiot." Nino spat, not happy at all to have his manliness poked at. He moped all the way to the couch and flopped down, he mumbled a couple of curses as he reached for his DSi trying to ignore his friend’s laughter.

It was all entirely overwhelming at points, In a good way.
It was incredible to think he could be a part of them.
But even with all their differences: they fit.

He would feel happy nowhere else but where he stands now
His place is here, standing next to them and being ARASHI.

"Of course, you know what that would mean..." Jun grinned from side to side. Sho grimaced ...he had forgotten the cost of asking Jun for favors, not that he never did them out of good heart because he knew Jun always worried about taking care of them. It was just that lately, Jun had been in a mischievous mood. Sho weighed the options in his head, this was a definitive lose/lose situation. The price to pay was an embarrassing one, but on the other hand, he would get what he wanted.

"Sho-chan~" Jun sang and his grin turned to a smug one as he observed Sho squirm to make a decision. This was so much fun.

Sho tilted his head, defeated, to the side, his eyes looking down full of gloom "ok." he muttered softly. Jun leaned toward Sho to pretend to read his expressions, " what? I couldn't hear you" Jun asked smugly. Sho pouted, he could cry too, he was definitely being teased," I said: ok. I'll do it."

"yokata~ " Jun sang again fallowed by some laughter as he made his way out of the room to retrieve something. "Shut up!" Sho barked back, " hurry up and bring it out! and only one picture!"

Later that day Jun would proudly show Ohno, Aiba, and Nino the picture slide show he had put together of Sho in a pretty pink frilly dress, making girly expressions. Sho would die from embarrassment but at least he would get what he wanted.
