Take the quiz: "What will happen to you this Valentines Day?"

Nothing. . as usual. .
If you don't take a chance, your gonna be a hopeless romantic for the rest of your life. SO TAKE A CHANCE! Don't be shy, maybe get to know your crush and then ask them to hang out. See where it goes from there. GOOD LUCK! :)

My job sucks. We get paid so little. No promotions. Crappy Work. Screaming kids. Since thursday I have been sick, each day it getting a little worse. Twice I went into work, but today I just cannot. So I call the store and "the boss" is there, and she tells me, oh jess, are you sure(making it sound like it's my fault and I should take cake of it), there's no-one to work, that's why I'm here (because she hired a bunch of underage kids who are still in schooland she let our manger go out on vacation at the same that one of the 5 shift leads is out for surgery on her wrist....probably because of coldstone.) So she make it sound like she doing me a big favor and says, I'll call kelly, but if she can't thenthere's no-one to cover for you. Keep in mind I have never called in sick, I only switched when there was no problem to anyone, I'm just so pissed and in so much pain; everything hurts.

English Final: What Crap [Dec. 8th, 2004|09:01 am]

[Current Mood |amusedamused]

"Due to thte fact that we have spent the semester focused on the current nature of the world we live in, you have obviously become aware that is is far from perfect. While it may be given thatt we willnever live in an utopian society, out lives as messy, as young, or as old as they may be - contribute in one way or another to the current state of our society. One of myy mantras is tat "to live" is an active verb. Living is not a state of "being." it is instead an actionexerted daily on those around us. How and in what wasy do you thnk you "live activly?" In what ways do you think your life contributes to the current state of the world you live in."

And that was my english final...
When asked how long shoud the paper be, the teacher answered, " as long as it takes you to respond to the prompt. the person next to me was late and then left like 20 minutes before probably only there for 15 or so.

My mom is getting hypnotized on thursday to quit smoking. I wishI could be hypnotyzed to not be a procrastinator. I procratinated my rough draft of my 10 page research paper. I only remember that it was due tomorrow, wait today on my way home from work at 10:30 pm. Fuck me.

It's amazing how some simple little thing can brighten your day. Things like not having to go english class in the morning, or getting out of calculus early, or even better finding out that averything you were worrying about is just fine. I did the little 5 minute drop in counseling session at grossmont today and she asnwered everything. I found out that All of my AP test scores will earn me credits, even the threes.Grossmont credits them as classes and then UC accepts them because of thier agreement. Also, I found out that if I change my major to political science which would best lead into a law degree, then I only have to take 3 classes for premajor, and most of the other classes are taken care of. I'm just so happy, cause Now I know that my AP classes really do count for those 17 credits and like 6 classes. That's 6 classes that I never had to and never will have to take. If I hadn't of picked Engineering in the first place, I wouldn't have needed any more math. EVER! I'm just so happy, tomorrow is thanksgiving, school is almost out, All signs point to me being promoted to Assistant Manager, and people are just o nice around the holidays. I held the door open for someone and then said "thanks and have anice holiday weekend". it's the little things in life. It really is.
