I want to meet the fish in the Milky Way...

Updating my bio but I'm leaving the past info up... Anyways, I'm now a geeky mom in my mid-30s with a rich past (both fandom and Real Life). I've recently fought through a lot of drama and I periodically revisit this Facebook to remember all the amazing people and works I've had the privilege to be involved with. I know lj isn't active per se these days but I have a permanent account, so it shall be used!

Also, I'm back in the States but I like Japan better so I'm leaving it as my location!



OLD: I'm a small, hyper-active person with a tendency for fall hard for the rare pairings. I like fanfiction and RPing, het and slash, and hold great affection for caffeinated beverages and not having to wake up before 10 am. ^.^ I also hold conversations with stuffed penguins.

I hold a B.A. in history and currently teach English in Japan. I'm not afraid of holding a dissenting opinion, liking those rare pairings, or not quite fitting in. That said, I like to squee over things as much as anyone, and to make new friends, and I don't expect or require others to agree with me on every point. Cause that's just silly. I'm upbeat and optimistic, though I have a low tolerance for bullshit. This journal is not, has never been, and never will be friends only... and I'm damn proud of that.

(Oh, and I have a bit of a potty mouth.)
