Uncanny X-Men #503 came out today, and we get a look at Sam's drivers license.

According to my calculations, the year is off - but hey, slight character stat development! October 17th. He's a Libra!

I now declare this to be Cannonball month. Let us celebrate by creating birthday fic/art/whatevers!

Sam has shown up in the pages of Cable again, and this time he's alive (and sorta goofy looking):

That's the only page he's on. At least the writers are remembering that Sam and Cable have a history together.
Kinda interesting that the artist chose to draw Scott so much shorter than Sam, especially since the official Marvel character bios list Scott as 6'3" and Sam as 6'.

Scans from the Divided We Stand one-shot.

From Marvel Graphic Novel #4, published in 1982. Story by Chris Claremont, art by Bob McLeod.

I found an adorable Sam/Lila story in the comic "I ♥ Marvel: My Mutant Heart." Check out Sam's sexy pose on the cover. Thumbnails under the cut!

I especially like the very last line.

hey lovelies:

just in -- X-Men 204

gotta love the art. :) but *pain* x.x sam all beaten up

A number of us were worried about Sam's little brother Lewis after reading part 12 of Endangered Species. For those anxiously awaiting what happens next, I've uploaded scans from part 13 into the comm's photobucket account.

"So what do you think, Henry? A girl would give us a double check against this little rug rat's Y chromosome."

I thought all the Endangered Species stories were supposed to be 8 pages, but this one only has 6. There don't seem to be any pages missing, but my copy is a scanned download so I don't know. Anyone want to clue me in if I've got the whole thing here?

I grow more impressed with Lucinda every time she makes an appearance. It says something about the woman when she can do a better job protecting her kids than a whole team of superheroes can.

(And like a dumbass, I first posted this in the wrong community. *Sigh* It's fixed now.

I've decided to start a community photobucket, since some people were having trouble with the latest scan downloads. This will keep all the scans active and in one place; I think it's a better alternative to the zipped files.

Here's the link.

All that's in there right now is Endangered Species part 12 (the Lewis story) but I'll upload other scans when I get a chance.

Co-mods, I'll be emailing you the password shortly so you can add scans as well. I'm kind of thinking we should keep it as mods access only? Members can link to their own scans and we can add them to the community account? If you can think of a better way to work that, let me know.

mlina, can you please add the link onto the sidebar? I don't want to risk breaking the comm's formatting by doing it myself. Thank you!

Lovelies, that would be the issue where, according to my friend, baby Lewis gets killed. Now, while I can only read this tonight (I hate my work computer, we don't have Winrar so I can't convert the extension and just open the damn thing), I'm almost certain that someone will be download this within my work shift. If not, then ignore this tiny request: can someone tell me the heck what happens? ;____;

Gueeeen~ I must bother you on AIM or YM or something. I have a couple of ideas to expand your fanfic writing challenge (if you're open to the idea).

Also, I realize that the banner I've been saying I'd put up is still not on the comm. Picture's been giving me a bit of trouble. Will attempt to remedy that soon.

Jeez, I'm a post whore today! X-Men 200 scans are now available for your viewing pleasure.

X-Men 200

Same deal as the previously posted files.

In which Sam plays filmmaker and puts strange things in his mouth.

Because YOU requested 'em!

They're all .rar files, so open with WinRAR. They were originally .cbr files - you can probably change the file extension back if you have whatever program is needed to actually view .cbr files. Whatever works for you!

X-Men 196

X-Men 197

X-Men 198

X-Men 199

Sendspace only keeps the file available for download as long as they're downloaded each week. If they stop working, let me know and I'll upload them again.
