Welcome to hpships_chorus! This community is the Harry Potter 'Shippers equivalent of hp_chorus.

A new set of songwords shall be posted up each week by one of the mods. Members will then be challenged to create an icon using three or more consecutive words from the songwords based on a certain (or several) relationships connected with Harry Potter) whether they be canon or fanon. The submitted icons that follow all the rules will then be judged by the members of the community who will then pick their favourites. These scores will then be tallied up in order to produce three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd - though this may change depending on participation). A mod's choice shall also be chose. The winners will then each receive a banner to show the world.

Note: The relationships will, most likely be of a romantic association. However, for some challenges you may be asked to create icons featuring platonic relationships or group relationships though these may also be done in 'normal' challenges.

Submittion Rules
[1] Up to ^ entries per week (preferably featuring 6 different relationships - though this is not a neccessity) per challenge (3 for part A, 3 for part B)
[2] All entries are to be submitted between the stated time frame (ie. Friday to Wednesday)
[3] All entries must be original (inspiration is fine. Stealing is not.)
[4] All entries must be submitted via comments (as only mods have posting access). They must not be anonymous comments (otherwise, how will we know it's you?).
[5a] All entries submitted should include the icon and the URL to the icon (remove the * before "img"):

[5b] You submission should look similar to this:

[6] You must use at least 3 consecutive words from the songwords provided.
[7] Credit where credit is due (ie. if you have used a base or blank that you've been told must be credited)
[8] All entries (icons) must fit the LiveJournal standards - they must 100x100 pixels (or less) and the file size should not be over 40k)
[9] You will need to be able to host your images. If you don't have aplace to host them at the moment try PhotoBucket.com (they offer a free service and it's quick and easy to sign up). If you truly are unable to host your images lunaillustris will try to host them for you during the voting period (email lunaillustris at lunaillustris [at] googlemail [dot] com).
[10] If you wish to re-sumbit, you may but please delete your original entry (just so no one gets confused).
[11] You must be a member to enter. It's quick and easy and you're sure to have fun after you join, right?

[x] Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in the disqualification of your entry/entries. And we don't want that now, do we?


Voting Rules
[x] Voting will take place between Friday Evening to Wednesday evening (GMT - times should be specified in
the voting posts and an approximation of when the voting starts should be stated in the challenge posts)
[x] Vote according to the rules in the post you are voting in as different challenges may require different voting. However, the norm should be voting for your favourite three (in order)
[x] You must be a member to vote
