R U L E S Submitting
001. Icons must meet LJ standards (100x100 and 40kb

002. Icons must be brand new and never before seen anywhere. Also, the icons cannot be participating in or have participated in other contests

003. During the first contest, any member can submit one icon. Following that contest, however, only those who submitted icons previously are allowed to continue submitting icons.

004. All icons submitted must be from Harry Potter.

005. You must be a member of the community to submit

006. Restrictions must be adhered to

Voting
001. Voting will take place with all members of the community, with the exception of those that submitted icons. If, however, there are not enough people to vote, those that submitted will be permitted to vote.

002. Comments or constructive criticism about the icons are also preferred.

003. If you neglect to vote for the amount if icons specified, then your vote will be discarded

004. No recruiting friends to further your icon-making skills.

Rules

How many:	Only 1 icon
**Members:	Only those who submitted during the last contest and are permitted to continue to the next round. See [ this post ] to find out whether or not you can submit. Only 9 iconmakers are allowed this round
LJ Standards:	A maximum of 100x100 & 40kb

Content:	All icons must be from Harry Potter.
Restrictions:	You must have a song title included on your icon. No alteration of the title is permitted, you must use the COMPLETE title. Yes, you are permitted to exchange an "&" for "and".

**note that if you are unable to participate in this round, you will be removed from the rest of the Challenge. Unless the submitter requests an extension or leaves a comment saying when they will be able to submit an icon, they will not be allowed to continue. Thank you.

Those not continuing to the next round are the makers of these icons:

Now for a little bit of stuff that probably nobody will read. However, I am going to leave things anonymous unless told otherwise. Those who have been removed this round will not have their username revealed unless they wish it so (LEAVE A REPLY).

The same goes with the comments for the icons. All those will remain anonymous unless the member specifically requests that they would like people to know. That will change the whole voting process and that will be something else asked for during that whole thing, but for right now, if you would like me to credit the comments that you made to you, please leave a reply to this post.

I would like to thank those who left comments for every single one of the icons, you are marvelous and I would give you candy if I knew you personally. Thankfully I don't because I don't have the money to buy even candy.

I will post the next round tommorrow.

We need more people to vote. We've only had one person who did not submit an icon vote.

Not to mention we need more comments for icons 1-5, 9 & 10. Especially number 1. Number 1 has yet to be commented upon.

Also, if you have already left comments, it's perfectly okay to come back and leave more. Just in case you were wondering. Thank you!

THE RULES OF JUDGING
001. Voting goes towards icons that you DO NOT want to see go on to the next round. Do not vote for what you think is the best icon or what your favorite icon is.
002. Comments/Constructive criticism is required for at least one icon. Feel free to comment on as many icons as you like, PLEASE! I would like to have at least 1/2 comments for each icon.
003. All those who entered the contest are only asked to leave comments/constructive criticism. They are asked not to vote off any icons.
004. Judging will end 10pm EST Sunday November 20.

Things to Note:
-- There will be TWO icons voted out this week.
-- All comments will remain anonymous.

Helpful Examples:
-- While I didn't dislike this icon, I didn't believe it matched up to the others. I like this that and the other thing.
or something like:-- My overall favorite. Simple, straight to the point. The cropping is great and the text fits nicely, although I don't see the point of the tiny text.

How the Points Add Up:

This is like golf. You want the least amount of points. Those with the highest amount of points will be eliminated from the rest of the Contest.

A little information about the community:

001. Each contest will last as many challenges as necessary.

002. During the beginning of the first competition there will also be a post to come up with 5-10 judges. Either that or I will allow comments for only a set amount during some point and only during that time will votes/comments/judgments be received.

003. Obviously, you cannot judge and submit icons at the same time.

Submitters
001. Anybody is permitted to submit an icon to the first challenge.

002. After the first challenge, though, only the icon-makers that entered in that challenge are permitted to continue, with the exception of those that the judges don't wish to see move on.

Judges
001. The position of judge will possibly change or be completely random or based on your timing.

002. You are REQUIRED to leave comments / constructive criticism about at least one of the icons.

The first contest will start as soon as we have enough members! Thank you
