Beginning with the company’s Australian founders in the late 1970s, there has been a long tradition of promoting skateboarding talent and facilities. We have continually invested in and encouraged the provision of skateboarding infrastructure along with the development of junior skateboarding and surfing in Australasia, North America and Europe. The provision of skateboarding facilities is a valuable outlet for young people and our executives and employees have spent many hours working behind the scenes with local councils and other agencies to improve the provision of skate parks, particularly in Australia. Our various brands also actively assist and donate to charitable groups connected to the skateboard industry, including Timor Skate, She Shreads, Gnarly Neighbours and many other similar local efforts.

FXD Workwear’s TAFE Mentor Program is now in its thirteenth year, and whilst marketing driven, works with industry and donates workwear directly to ‘Next Gen’ apprentices at trade schools and technical colleges, encouraging them to complete their courses against a background of high dropout rates across Australia.

Globe International has a long track record of donating product to charity groups and local community organisations such as the Cancer Council Victoria, Uniting Care Victoria and Tasmania, Save The Children (including Hands On Learning) and the Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency. A volunteer leave scheme for our Australian staff encourages further connections with our local communities.
