how to connect to an ipv6 ?

I just installed adminer and I'm trying to connect to a pgsql database on another host
as all my proxmox containers are ipv6, I tried connecting to the ip, but I get this error : "Connecting to privileged ports is not allowed."
I tried enclosing the ipv6 in brackets [] but I get the same error
as a workaround I added the ipv6 to the /etc/hosts file and used the hostname, but is there a way to use the ipv6 directly ?

It was not possible, fixed in f921daf.

Not sure I fully agree with this approach. Maybe there’s still another way to handle IPv6 directly. Check in my bio.
