I would like to be able to scroll through the Pull Request while the comment modal is open. Reason: When a comment is outdated, we need to look at the current version to check if it actually addresses the comment. I really love this feature! THANK YOU!!! |

Update: I just found out that it appears when there's enough space (1280px width). Here's the updated feedback. I'd like to see the branch name in the sticky header at all times so that I can easily copy it when I'm reviewing a PR. I wrote the following before thoroughly experimenting. I'd like to see the branch name when the sticky header is shown (i.e., when you've scrolled to the bottom). The reason is that when I'm reviewing a long PR and want to checkout the branch to continue reviewing it locally, I have to go back all the way up to see or copy the branch name and then go back to where I left off. |

I find the comment indicators in the sidebar really useful. It might also be useful to have them in the "diff file header." It's very useful when you've marked a file as "viewed" because you can see how many comments it has as you're scrolling without having to expand it. |
This is really cool. Is it also possible to seamlessly toggle hiding white spaces? If that's achievable without doing a refresh would be amazing. |

This is so much better, I might go back from reviewing with the VSCode extension now ð I love the new alerts panel, unfortunately it looks like pressing Maybe we could have some grouping or clustering in the alerts panel in the future. |

I would love to see the file tree sorted alphabetically with folders on top, then files. It is quite jarring to have changed files in the middle of folders when viewing the file tree currently. Example of current state Example of desired state This would mirror how the majority of developers view the code in their IDE |

Hi, I would like to play around with this, but I'm not seeing the opt-in mentioned in
Am I missing something? |

It doesn't always seem to remember if hide whitespace was turned on. |

When Copilot reviews a PR, it posts a summary of the PR as a comment. When the PR is modified afterwards (e.g. changes are removed) and a re-review is requested from Copilot, it does not update the summary comment. This leads to a comment mentioning lots of changed files that are not in the PR anymore which is a bad experience. |
|
I'm often caught off guard by how comments sometimes end up grouped all together and I have to "submit" the review before my comments show up. Is there any way to turn that off so that all comments just go out when I make them? |

I've found UI bug. Quite essential in new experience view: Bug: âJump to the comment in the diffâ does nothingIâm experiencing a bug in the New Files Changed experience. When viewing a PR review comment, clicking âJump to the comment in the diffâ does nothing. The button appears clickable, but the page does not navigate to the corresponding file/line in the diff. Steps to reproduce:
Expected: The UI should navigate to the file and line associated with the comment and bring it into view. Actual: Nothing happens. Environment:
This seems like a navigation bug in the new Files Changed experience. It would be useful to check whether the button's target/anchor is not being resolved correctly. |

Please in the new pull request experience add support Like github actions repos have their We already have support in dist/** -diff linguist-generated=true
.licenses/** -diff linguist-generated=true |

Thanks for the update â the new experience has been a solid improvement overall (especially commenting on unchanged lines and the resizable file tree). One thing that'd help my workflow: [insert specific pain point or request here]. Also curious whether the file/comment limits (1,000/3,000 files, 40 comments on page) are expected to keep increasing, or if those are closer to the long-term ceiling. |
|
Is there still a way to see which branches a commit is on? The previous list of branches was very useful. |
|
In the file change experience, scrolling down removes the new stacking feature at the top. Its kind of a pain to have to scroll all the way up to the top to get to a new stack. it would be nice if the stack didn't go away and always showed on the top bar. |

Allow me to move the split diff splitter, drag it left and right. And pin the top menu items to the top of the page instead of making me scroll all the way to back to the top to see them. Over all request, make it exactly like Azure devops PR reviews. Show me one file at a time, let me click on the next diff button to move between diffs/files. |

Please fix the Conversation view to be chronological, make a way to see 'outstanding threads' rather than having to scroll like a TikTok user. |

[Unsubscribing from updates as it's clear this will never get fixed/updated/implemented before the end of the universe]. |

ðĄ Limitations
As of the initial public preview release, there are some temporary limitations that will be addressed over time:
While our previous experience had hard limits on large PRs, this new experience is being built to scale. That said, weâre increasing our limits incrementally. To start with, our additional current limitations are:
