try-omarchy 1.0.1 : Missing "Setup > Security > Touch ID for sudo" #385

Open

Description

@vincent-olivert-riera

I have updated to try-omarchy 1.0.1, after that I imported my old VM and copied the necessary files. It worked smoothly.

However, before I used to have an option to configure the fingerprint reader in my MacBook Pro so it can be used to "type" the sudo password.
If I recall correct, that option was in Setup -> Security -> Touch ID for sudo, but as far as I can see, is no longer in there.

    Look for "touch id" and see if you find it there:

    @Fail-Safe , nope, I don't have it. The only options I have in Setup > Security are:

    • Fido2
    • SSHD
    • SSH Agent
    • Sudoless Docker
    • Passwordless sudo

    I could set it up by running try-omarchy-touch-id in a terminal, and it's working fine.
    However, the option in the Setup > Security menu is still missing.
