SmartThings integration setup fails in 2026.10: MissingField: Field "manufacturer_id" of type int is missing in Zwave instance #184789
âĒ Regression between 2026.9 (working) and 2026.10 (broken).
âĒ In pysmartthings, Zwave.manufacturer_id (and product_type/product_id) needs to be Optional[int] = None.
âĒ SmartThings omits these fields when devices have inclusion anomalies (such as networkSecurityLevel: ZWAVE_S0_FAILED or legacy devices missing manufacturer codes).

Same issue after I updated to 2026.10.0 (HAOS on an HA Yellow). The device triggering it is an old Aeon Labs Z-Wave siren with a failed S0 security pairing, so SmartThings returns no manufacturerId/productType/productId for it:
mashumaro.exceptions.MissingField: Field "manufacturer_id" of type int is missing in Zwave instance mashumaro.exceptions.InvalidFieldValue: Field "zwave" of type Optional[Zwave] in Device has invalid value {'networkId': '04', 'executingLocally': True, 'networkSecurityLevel': 'ZWAVE_S0_FAILED', 'provisioningState': 'PROVISIONED'}
Same issue? I have two locations with Smartthings and the integration worked fine on the one with no zwave devices (work) and failed with my home smartthings integration.
