ctrl+click should open links #3
Description
Almost 12 years after original bug along with patch was submitted on Launchpad, I'm still unable to open links from Terminator using ctrl+click (Terminator 1.91-4 on Ubuntu 20.04).

It was working for me until update to Ubuntu 20.04.
Setting custom URL handler also do not help.

@tgagor you mean URL handling in general, this issue here should be about opening a URL with a single click

So I had a look at the code, CTRL+Click is fixed when the RegExp code works again, see #6

@lazyfrosch yeah, I mean that URL handling do not work at all in Ubuntu 20.04.

@tgagor this is caused by the VTE implementation having changed the API, it is fixed in master for now

Seems to still be a problem in upstream on Fedora. Added bug report here:

Yeah. Mine too. Check my bug report over at fedora. I've tested the updated package from fedora updates-testing repo

Still no ctrl-click for highlighted email addresses!
I am on manjaro with terminator version:

@leder11011 I cannot reproduce this here on Fedora with the same terminator version (2.1.4). An email address is hilighted and on Ctrl-Click the mail program is opened. If this is an issue for you, I'd suggest to open a new issue with more detailed information, e.g. the mail adress or another example mail address instead of commenting a closed issue which is more than four years old.
