Any way to disable the progress bars?

I can't find a configuration option to disable the progress bar - is there a way to achieve this in MacOS?

I find persistent animations extremely distracting and do everything I can to minimise them!

+1 on this. Would love a simple config toggle like window-progress-bar = false to disable the progress bar entirely.

+1. desktop-notifications already has a toggle for OSC 9 notifications — a similar progress-bar boolean would be consistent and straightforward to implement.
