Repeated clipboard read (OSC52) popup over SSH when unfocused #10077
Issue DescriptionOn a vanilla install of Ghostty, I am ssh'ing from my MacOS laptop (M4 Air) to my NixOS server. While attempting to edit some configuration files, I switched focus from Ghostty to other local window, and am observing repeated OSC52 read popups. This only happens when neovim is open via SSH, not just my shell. I have attached a screen recording for reference. This may be an upstream issue, but I could not find any relevant neovim issues. Expected BehaviorNo clipboard read notifications when unfocused Actual BehaviorClipboard read popups happen every time Ghostty is unfocused and neovim is the active program over ssh Reproduction Steps

Just wanted to follow up on this and add that I was able to reproduce this with a fresh Ghostty install, no need for the I can't manage to get the recording down to Github-acceptable file size, but the inspector shows the same thing - no key events. I downloaded a debug build (the slow one) and these are the logs streamed. I don't see anything that immediately pops out to me. |
