.NET Tool installer switch from --add-source to --source for .NET 9 & 10 #4834

Closed

Description

@devlead

arguments.Append("--add-source");

Newer SDK versions doesn't allow --add-source combined with package source mapping.

Example

- Running dotnet tool with operation Install: GitVersion.Tool...
-   Executing: dotnet tool install "GitVersion.Tool" --tool-path "/Users/runner/work/generator/generator/tools"
-  --add-source "https://api.nuget.org/v3/index.json" --version 6.6.0 --verbosity diagnostic
- The --add-source option cannot be combined with package source mapping.
- To use an additional source, update your NuGet configuration file's source mapping settings.
-   Learn more: https://aka.ms/nuget-package-source-mapping

Instead --source <SOURCE> should be used, available in .NET 9 (SDK 9.0.100) and newer
