   This is addressed by 6465652.

   Both deprecated flags and their compatibility behavior have been removed. Internal callers, examples, tests, and documentation now use log_level, completing the removal scheduled for Warp 1.18. Closing as completed.

   Public API behavior

   Use warp.config.log_level = warp.LOG_DEBUG instead of warp.config.verbose, and warp.config.log_level = warp.LOG_WARNING instead of warp.config.quiet. On a fresh import, reading either removed flag raises AttributeError; assigning those names manually no longer affects logging. warp.config.verbose_warnings remains supported.

   Test coverage

   • warp/tests/test_logger.py: updated test_log_debug_gated_by_level and test_cuda_build_honors_debug_log_level to exercise log_level; removed obsolete compatibility tests for the deprecated flags.
   • warp/tests/test_diagnostics.py: updated test_print_diagnostics_suppresses_init_banner_at_debug_log_level to verify that diagnostics suppress the initialization banner while preserving LOG_DEBUG.
   • warp/tests/tile/test_tile_oob.py: migrated the subprocess fixtures used by TestTileOOB to LOG_WARNING, preserving their diagnostic checks.

   Behavioral verification

   All 48 targeted logger, diagnostics, and tile diagnostic tests passed. Separate fresh-process checks confirmed flag removal and the expected initialization and compilation output at DEBUG, INFO, and WARNING levels on CPU and CUDA, with correct kernel results. Both JAX staged graph modes also produced correct results and emitted staging statistics only at DEBUG.
