Hi! I am the moderator of "Free AMV's" and I hope that this will turn out to be a community where those of us who enjoy AMV's can exchange links to download amv's on the web.
There are some of us who cannot afford to pay to get into sites that have massive downloads (even though we would love to) so we have to resort to p2p programs (such as kazza) to get most of the AMV's we own. The problem is you get about 3/4ths done with an AMV, and it drops. Leaving you with this AMV that you were soooooo excited to get...and you can never find it agian.
Then there are those of us who are STUBBORN! I have spent many many hours on the web looking for amv's. You would be amazed how many talented people out there offer their videos for free..and some of these people are TALENTED!
What I am praying to accomplish here is to get a working list of sites that have free AMVs to download, and start a community of people who can trade them. PLEASE!!!! Spread the word!
Rules:
Pretty simple here....
1. When you post..please do such in this format....
Website:
Approx. how many AMV's:
Type of AMV (real media, AVI, MPEG):
Problems with site (be fair people..things such as lots of broken links, long download time...not background is stupid..or anything like that):
Comments:
2. DO NOT slam others for their beliefs on videos or anything else. If I see it...the user will get one warning...or immediatly banned from the group.
3. If a person gives you their intant messenger/e-mail..use it to trade videos, nothing else unless the person gives you permission to do so otherwise. Breaking this rule will cause you to be banned from the group upon PROOF of said infraction (Saved IM conversation....e-mail...etc...)
4. Play nice..and enjoy.
