This community is for real people with real experiences. This is not a videogame or roleplaying community.
Purpose:
This community is a discussion forum and social/support community for people who have been assassins or had experiences of killing, for whatever reason. Discussion of issues related to this such as pacifism, philosophies of life for people who have killed, cults, emotions related to having killed or been made to kill people, flashbacks, anxiety attacks etc. are on topic.
This community is also primarily (but not exclusively) for a particular group of people whose experiences often go undocumented; people who identify as soulbonds, fiction-kin or otakukin. These are people who have or perceived themselves to have "walked into" this physical body and have memories of their life in a previous body which correlate with fictional media in this world. These people are not roleplayers and their experiences are real.
This community is also open to people in multiple systems who have killed in other worlds, system worlds or offworlds, and people who remember being killers or assassins in past lives and have dealt with or are dealing with those memories. Plus, this community is also open to people who have killed/been assassins in this world. However, I ask you if you join this community to accept that, for them, the experiences of others here are real and valid. If you think this is just a game or a vivid fantasy then please do not join. This community is intended as a refuge and intelligent discussion forum for all people who have had these experiences in whatever form; please respect that and respect the community and individual members. Please don't think anyone is trying to make fun of people who have had cult experiences or been assassins, etc. We have too. This is real for us and very serious - no one is going to make fun of any member, or their ideas or beliefs, in this community. If you believe that someone isn't telling the truth or has beliefs that are harmful or don't make sense, discuss it with them in a polite, intelligent and thoughtful manner.
Rules:
1) Respect other members and respect what they tell you, even if it seems far-fetched. You don't have to believe what they say, but please respect their beliefs and their right to say it.
2) Set all posts you make in the community to be viewable by friends only. This ensures only members of the community can read what you write. (Occasionally I might set administration posts to be publicly viewable.)
3) Post potentially triggering or upsetting material behind an lj-cut. Not everyone is easily triggered but the policy on trigger warnings here is better safe than sorry.
